Small jobs welcome

"After a really frustrating experience with another contractor who took our deposit and disappeared for two weeks without doing any work, we were honestly stressed and unsure who to trust next. I found LEA Concrete LLC this morning, reached out, and within hours they were already on-site. Not only did they show up the same day—they completed the entire job that afternoon. The difference in professionalism was night and day. They communicated clearly, showed up when they said they would, and delivered clean, high-quality work with zero delays. If you’re looking for a reliable, responsive, and professional concrete company, I highly recommend LEA Concrete LLC. They truly stepped up when we needed it most."

"They did a very professional job and produced beautiful results. They were responsive and flexible on scheduling as much as is possible with concrete work (there were a couple of weather delays, but that is unavoidable when pouring concrete outdoors and nothing they could have changed.) I would highly recommend 2D Professionals for anyone who needs driveway or other concrete work done."

"Great work. Arrived quickly and provided estimate below competitors. Even with wrong concrete mix coming from other vendor, they still accomplished the patio in the time stated, cleaned up the debris and left me a great looking addition to my patio."

"Robert was very professional. He explained the problems he found and his suggested solution. He took pictures and sent us a detailed plan and estimate for what he was going to do. The work was scheduled promptly. He called us on the morning of the work to see if his crew was here and to let us know when he would be here to inspect. The team dug a ditch, laid gravel and pipe, and covered the pipe with more gravel and dirt. They also sealed the concrete crack and even added an insulation panel for an area under the porch at no extra charge. They completed the french drain on 8/20/2014, as they had planned and for the exact cost of $900 that was quoted on the estimate. We are happy with their work and would hire them again. In fact, we found out that they also do attic insulation and we plan to have them do that for us next.

"Mohammed excavated all of the old soil, and prepped the area for a new concrete pour.  They came out, poured, and stamped the concrete all at once.  There service was A plus, and the communication was perfect.  If they were running 15 minutes behind on when they said they would arrive, I received a phone call letting me know.  The team was extremely professional."

"Highly recommended!  I contracted with Brick Solutions owner, Joe Walls, to have a badly damaged concrete driveway replaced with brick pavers.  I had previously gotten estimates for replacing the driveway with new concrete but I was concerned about damaging the roots of a very old tulip poplar tree adjacent to the driveway.  When the concrete contractor informed
me if he didn?t cut the roots he couldn?t guarantee the concrete but if he did cut the roots he could not guarantee the tree would survive, I decided to go with brick.
Joe said he could do the driveway without damaging the roots.  He broke up the old concrete with a jackhammer rather than bringing in heavy equipment.  We consulted with an arborist who told Joe what could or could not be cut.  When our plan to save a portion of the old concrete did not work out because it was too cracked Joe volunteered to break it up and replace it
with brick at no extra charge.  He worked carefully, followed all out suggestions, and managed to give us a smooth brick
driveway that looks much better than what we had before.
In short, Brick Solutions did a great job for a reasonable price and it was pleasure to work with Joe.

Concrete Resurfacing FAQs, answered by experts

For handy homeowners, concrete projects are DIYable, and DIYing is a good way to save on the cost of a concrete slab, walkway, or other concrete work. If you’re completing a larger project or one that’s subject to building codes, you should always hire a professional to ensure the job is done safely and correctly.

You can use epoxy-based concrete fillers to repair small cracks and dents in the floor. For larger damages, remove any debris, then patch the cracks or holes with concrete repair products or resurface the entire floor. We recommend using fast-curing products that cure in four hours. You can also buy a pre-mixed concrete patch and leveler if you are only repairing parts of your floor.

Yes, you can grind concrete by hand, but it’s typically known as sanding concrete when done with a hand grinder. Additionally, you should only use this method if you’re working on a smaller area, like a countertop, rounding an edge, removing imperfections, or doing a spot repair versus a driveway or patio.

Costs vary by materials used, surface size, and complexity. Refacing can be cost-effective compared to full replacements, with an average range between $300 and $1,200.

Rebar is an essential part of reinforcing a basement floor, as not having it can impact its structural integrity. It helps absorb the tension factors that contribute to cracks in your floor and strengthens its load-bearing capabilities by evenly distributing the weight. Not including rebar could lead to an unstable floor, so don’t skip it!
