"Jay and his son were very professional and courteous. Did a great ? job and saved me a lot of money,by fixing the range and me not having to get a new one . I could not find anyone to come out to even look at the range. I was very blessed ? to have found him. I would definitely recommend them !!!!!"

"Couldn't identify project accurately from dropdowns: fixed my crawlspace and installed a dehumidifier. The team did an excellent job and finished in about 1/2 day. I can highly recommend the company AND the team (Shane English - foreman, Luke Bolinger, and Riley Lane). Happy Customer!"

"I would highly recommend anybody to consider Bellus Terra for any landscaping, hardscaping and outdoor maintenance of any kind to their homes, buildings and other environments that would require these services. Bellus Terra built us an outdoor pavilion with a beautiful fireplace. They were terrific in helping us create the design, structure, orientation to the house, size and all aesthetic qualities. The building experience was terrific as all expectations were met or exceeded. Stuart takes a lot of pride in what he contracts to do, very experienced, easy to work with and will over communicate to ensure a great experience. If you wind up working with Belle Terra, you will never be disappointed."

Range Hoods questions, answered by experts

Yes, they can assess the size, kitchen layout, and ventilation requirements to make recommendations.

No, you can’t install just any microwave over your range. You have to get a specific type of microwave known as an over-the-range unit. These include venting and lighting features that you’ll need above your stovetop.

Although countertop units are more affordable, they won’t work for this type of installation. To avoid hazardous conditions in your kitchen, buy the right type of microwave for your needs.

Typically 1-2 hours, factoring in ductwork and electrical connections.

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.

If a range hood has minor issues, the average repair costs $85 to $210. This accounts for both parts and labor. More extensive damage can cost as much as $300 to $500, at which point it may be worth considering completely replacing the range hood.
