"These guys know what they are doing! We had roof damage that caused a water stain on our living room ceiling and we got insurance money to repaint this ceiling along with the adjoining hallway ceiling. We decided to spend a little extra of our own money and go with a flat ceiling instead of replacing the ugly popcorn texture. We didn't know anything about local painters, so I checked online and decided on Xtreme Painting. I'm glad I did. I talked to Mariela, who does an excellent job of running the office, and she told me Juan would come by and give me a quote, which he did. The next morning, Juan came back with his helper Gerardo and immediately got to work. Both of these guys are friendly, courteous and hard-working. They talked and joked non-stop as they worked, but that didn't slow them down and it certainly didn't take away from the quality of their work. The ceilings in both of these rooms look amazing! Juan's business card shows that he also does drywall, decks and pressure washing. While he was here, he noticed the exterior trim on our windows was deteriorating and mentioned that he also repairs that. I am definitely going to call him when I am ready to start that project. We recently purchased a 2nd home on Lake James with an exterior that is 100% cedar.  The exterior was in serious need of cleaning and re-staining.  It had not been maintained; and, had a significant amount of mold staining and several areas of the trim had the original finish peeling off.

We contracted with Mike and Crystal to prep and re-stain the exterior of our home.  Throughout the process, Mike demonstrated thoroughness, competency and responsibility.  Mike and Crystal took personal responsibility to ensure they delivered a quality product.  Mike kept his commitments and did not compromise his work product even when faced with the stripping process taking more time than he expected.  He completed the project per the schedule he committed.

Mike demonstrated a high attention to detail in the finishing process and ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction.  The home looks beautiful...we could not be happier.

I solicited bids from several paint contractors and evaluated several before selecting Mike.  His pricing was very competitive versus several other contractors; but, I never observed where Mike cut corners.

I would definitely recommend MIke's Painting and will plan to use Mike again when we have painting needs.

"If you want a contractor who will pay attention to problems/defects from previous repairs (or original construction), bring these to your attention and correct the problem, then Cyril is the guy for you.  
Was the final cost higher than the estimate?  Yes, but only because he discovered problems with the original construction to my attention and provided suggestions to resolve.  When you find that the posts that hold up a deck 20+ feet high are sitting on dirt or a scrap of 2x10 with no concrete support, that's something I want to know and fix.  The final cost was reasonable, given the extra work I authorized Cyril to complete in order to ensure the safety of my family and guest.  Cyril always let me know what he had found, including pictures to document (I wasn't on site) and didn't perform extra work without permission.
I think he did a fabulous job.  We are very pleased with the work and the finished result.  
I will definitely use Cyril again.

"In September of this year my wife and I bought a home near Cedar Mountain. We had
a few things that we wanted to get done to the house before we moved in. From
Florida we researched contractors as well as through friends in our new
community. I was not prepared for the casual attitude of many of the workmen I
spoke with. Out of all of them, there was only one who showed up and did the
work as promised, Mr. Wade Morris. Despite having to drive and extraordinarily
long way to our home, Wade arrived every morning at 8:30 until the job was
done. I had to return to Florida but I left Wade a key to finish up. When I got
back to NC I was pleased to find the house clean and the work done to a high
standard of professionalism. Little extras, like painting the bedroom
baseboards (which was not part of our agreement) made me appreciate Wade and
Gaye all the more.
