"Johnathan painted 8 rooms and a very large hallway, and it all went very well! Johnathan is a very good painter plus he cleaned up behind himself daily. I recommend him for any kind of painting. I hope he can do some other work in my house."

"Care and Repair was excellent to work with from estimate to completion. They were not the least expensive bid that we received but we felt confident after meeting with them that we would receive the best quality service and we were not disappointed! They were punctual, completed the job in a timely manner and informed us when they found additional problems during the repair BEFORE completing the project so that we were aware of additional costs.
We would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

"Yes, Steven Lambert did work for us. He painted the outside of our house, Rescreened the porch, and added new steps to the front by the lake. They did an excellent job, and their price was very competitive if not better than most. He returned calls and texts in a timely fashion . When we were building our boat house, we needed some painting like today, and he came out and did it almost immediately. . We plan on using him in the future."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

Composite decking might cost more upfront, but it delivers value in terms of durability. Unlike wood, composite material resists common deck problems such as rotting, fading, warping, and all the other things you don’t want a deck to do. The extra processes lead to a higher price tag, but you’ll save big in maintenance costs down the road.

In general, you need a footing at each corner of your deck, and within 8 feet of each other. So, how many you need depends on the size and shape of your deck, plus any local building codes. It also depends on factors like the load capacity of your soil and the weight of your deck. You can find a footing calculator online or contact a pro for support.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

Both deck footings and deck posts help prop up your deck. However, footings are the bottommost parts of a deck that touch the ground. They’re usually made of concrete. Posts are pieces of wood that attach to the top of the footings with brackets. They run upwards and connect to the underside of your deck to support its weight.
