tech was great and the carpet came out wonderful. While we didn't have to do the carpets to sell the house, the cleaning will make the new owner very happy.

Office staff, Amywas polite and detailed everything I needed done with patient explanations. Andrew came couple days ahead to evaluate, look at, measure, and give an estimate of cleaning. He examined the composition, and fabrics in upholstery and the rugs. Austin came right on time the day of cleaning. He was persobable, neat, efficient and careful with my surrounding hardwoods.

The owner of the business actually performed most of the services himself, coming back to the house several times during the drying-out process to make sure everything was going well. The results were outstanding in that he was able to restore everything to normal, saving us thousands of dollars in replacement costs.

Excellent service and very friendly staff from end to end of the experience. There was a hurricane while waiting for our service, so they got delayed with emergency work - but offered free delivery to make up for it. Everything was handled professionally and with a smile, would definitely recommend and use them again.

We left the rugs with them while we were on vacation. They were ready for us when we returned.

All employees have been exceptional dealing with me in a compassionate manner. This is the second time we have been flooded in a two month time.  Educated and explained everything being done and why. Used modern up to date methods of cleaning rugs and created a hanging troth for my orientals so they would not get wet again.  Corrected drying methods to eliminate and remove mold, explained and created drainage to prevent another occurrence.

A family business that treats you like family!

The carpet cleaning was fine. When I called for a quote I gave them dimensions that were on a tag on the rug. When I arrived to drop the carpet off they measured the carpet and added fringe dimensions which made it a bit more expensive than quoted.

Rugs were ready to be picked up upon agreed date.

Well.....they look brand new. We had them cleaned while we were on vacation so they had plenty of time to do the job.

I was super pleased with the outcome and have saved a ton of money cleaning the chairs versus purchasing new ones.  Pettyjohn's gave me great service at a fair price!

PettyJohn picked up the rug, cleaned it, delivered it to my home and re-installed it. Very professional and knowledgeable company. I would use them again in a heart beat. The service was a bit costly but well worth it to restore a really nice rug.

I would like to take a moment to tell you about the TWO great experiences I’ve had with Petty John’s in Wake Forest, NC. I recently had the carpet redone in my office and I had Katie with Petty John’s give me a quote for placing a protective coating over the carpet. She went through the two different options I had and the pros and cons of each. I had also received a quote from another carpet cleaning company that used scotchgard. I asked about the difference b/w scotchgard and the product they used. Katie told me the differences, but then also sent me articles related to my questions. Did you know scotchgard is linked to cancer?!?! I had the carpet replaced and protective coating placed on the carpet over the weekend. The smell that I came into on Monday caused me a migraine. I called Petty Johns and the contractors who laid down the carpet and both agreed it was most likely from the carpet glue that was used. Petty John’s went above and beyond and brought over a HUGE HEPA filter and left it in my office for over a week to clean out the smell. They were under no obligation to do this, but they did! They made a customer for life! Fast Forward one month later and my dog had a huge accident in my office. I called Petty John’s at 11am and they had someone out by 3:30pm that same day to clean up the mess! They thoroughly cleaned everything and it was just like new by the time they left. I will tell you that they may not be the cheapest, but in my opinion, they are the best! I highly recommend them for your carpet cleaning needs!!

We have used Pettyjohn's twice now. They are EXTREMELY courteous, responsive, and truly do a magnificent job on the carpets. Amy, who schedules the appointments is so kind and will do whatever she can to meet your needs and never makes you feel like you are a bother. The staff that comes to clean the carpets is very knowledgable, fair, and will work diligently to remove stains. They are prompt and work efficiently. They are not the cheapest company but you get what you pay for and they do exceptional work, so they are worth the price.

He arrived on time, honored the estimate, and went well over and beyond the expected! Not content with what he could do at my home, he took the cushions back to his shop and cleaned them very thoroughly! And then returned them at a time convenient to me.

I've used Petty John's for over 15 years for carpet cleaning due to their prompt and excellent service. Yesterday was another great experience. My carpet looks great. I recommend them highly.

The guys did a great job, very polite, professional and personable. Arrived right on time. Moved all the furniture and put it back. I love my new carpet pads. It makes the carpets feel more luxurious and comfortable, all while protecting them from damage. They even cut some smaller pieces for my accent rugs in my kitchen for free. 

We have used Pettyjohns' on several occasions. They do excellent work. Always on time and do an outstanding job.

We had a pipe to freeze and bust last March at our beach house in Emerald Isle.  It ran for 3 weeks before someone caught it. Our insurance company hired a local company that we had to relieve of their duties. Pettyjohn's went down and corrected their mistakes. They dried us out and removed all of the mold.

We would not use anyone else period.
