"Great Job! Made my carpet look like I'd never thought it would again. I was surprised at how clean my carpet was. Matt did an excellent job. I told some of my neighbors and he made time to remove some stains they had on their carpets. They were pleased as well. I will use this company again and will tell other friends, family, and neighbors about Steam-Source."

"Rob is absolutely a wonderful person Very reliable What else to say accept that, He And his crew, we're totally awesome. , Great personalities, hard workers. They did a fantastic job on my place. I absolutely love it. I recommend them at five star plus 5 more highest of all highs. , In I feel as though they went above and beyond their duties to make sure that I was totally Happy with the way the floors looked when they were done.. Byron and Alan, we're very clonsiderate, moving my things and moving them back into place, haven't had any workers come in my home and work like that. Ever, those 2 are A great team and Very hard-working men. Keep up the good work you guys and yes, I will have you back to finish the rest of the trailer. Thank you so very much for the fine work that you've done. God bless you and stay safe."

"Things looked good right after they left but I later noticed white spots on my car, stains on concrete that didnâ t come up after the garage floor dried, a torn patio cushion. I had to replace my patio cushions because they did not come clean. They are a friendly company but attention to detail needs improvement."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

When deciding whether to repair or replace your carpet, consider its age, the extent of the damage, and its location. It's often best to replace the entire carpet if the damage is extensive, such as large sections needing replacement, or if it's caused by water, which can lead to mold problems. Similarly, if your carpet is nearing a decade old, replacement is likely the more logical choice. On the other hand, consider repairing your carpet if the damage is localized to one spot, like minor rips or snags, the carpet is still relatively new, or the damage is in a low-traffic area of your home.

Carpet tiles are less expensive than traditional carpet. The average cost of carpet installation is $1,800, or $3 to $11 per square foot. In comparison, carpet tiles cost $2.50 to $11 apiece and can often be bought in bulk cartons. Since you can more easily DIY carpet tiles, you may be able to save on installation costs, too.

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

Yes, there are plenty of ways to lay stair carpet without grippers, such as carpet adhesive, magnetic flooring, or staples. Adhesive may be your best bet if you don’t want grippers, as it will most likely stick the best and cause the least amount of damage. However, if you’re looking for an easy fix, grippers are one of the best solutions you can purchase.

A stair runner can be cheaper than a carpet and will definitely save money over the cost of refinishing hardwood floors and stairs. The price depends, however, on the fabric and quality of the runner. A wool stair runner can be more expensive than an inexpensive polyester carpet and vice versa. Keep an eye on your budget, knowing that the higher quality the carpet and the carpet pad, the better the carpet will wear over time.
