"We had a huge pine tree next to our house that was hollow up to about 8' Michael put this job as one that needed to be done sooner rather than later. Michael and his team of arborists showed up on time and ready to busy. They were professional and courteous in every way imaginable. They cleaned up all debris before leaving at the end of a long day. The team worked together like clockwork. No one had to be told what to do next. The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

If you’re planning on keeping the tree, unless the roots are invasive, there’s no need to remove them, as doing so can cause damage to the tree. If the tree has been cut down and the stump and roots are left, grinding and removing the stump can cause root decay for some species. For other species, the stump and roots will need to be removed to prevent pests, disease, and possible tree regrowth.
