From remodeling to repairs we can handle all your home repairs needs

"Beware. Had this man put hardwood floors in two houses. One house has severe swirl marks and massive amounts of trash in the finish. Other house has absolutely no polyurethane finish left on it. Both houses were done less than a year before issues started to arise. Very shotty job. Dining room floor nowhere near matched the finish of the rest of the house. While doing work he admittedly dented a $3000 stainless steel fridge. Said he would take care of it and have never heard another word from him. He won’t return my calls. The floors are so bad that they will have to be completely redone, at my expense, by another company."

The difference is that double fence gates also have a center gap, which needs a little more clearance. It does matter which way a hinge is installed because it’s possible to install a hinge backward. The hinge pin should face the direction in which the door will swing, making the pin visible. Exterior doors that swing outward need a security hinge with an Allen set screw in the center to prevent someone from removing the hinge from the outside and accessing the home or business.

Barrier doors or screen doors are ideal for bringing in summer breezes without letting in pesky flies and mosquitoes. But these types of doors aren’t as secure as a security door, which is installed with permanent screws into the home’s walls and often have deadbolts or other heavy-duty lock mechanisms for better security.

When you have a wayward woofer, using wooden panels that come within an inch or two of the ground is the most secure option. You may need a metal defense barrier dug into the soil to keep your dog from digging under your fence or gate.
