While we can’t stop you, we don’t recommend using ceiling paint on walls. Ceiling paint is designed to be flat and less durable, which means it won’t stand up well to scrubbing or regular contact. But for most walls, it’s worth using a more durable, wall-specific formula.

If your painter is supplying the materials, the quote should also include the quantity of paint needed, as well as the brand and color.

Because satin paint has a sheen to it, it will highlight curves and contours. While that’s great for trim, it’s not so excellent for your repaired drywall that has a few small blemishes.
