"Hakan Anderson had two painters at the house who quickly set about installing plastic on the furniture. They then applied stain blocker to the water stains on the ceilings from a leaking roof that was replaced. This was an insurance job. Then they cut in the perimeter of the ceiling with a brush and then rolled 2 coats of paint on each ceiling. After they were done, it was all about cleaning up and a walk through. I had moved all the furniture to the center of the rooms prior to their arrival. Hakan said it wasn't necessary but I felt better about doing it myself."

"Advance did a very good job with the exterior painting project. Our house is brick, so the painting job included the window trim, exterior shutters, garage trim, and the screened in porch out back. Team also replaced all the screens in the porch, as some of them had small holes from 15+ years of weathering. Advance's team arrived on time both days for the job and were very hard workers--breaking only for lunch even though the weather was extremely hot. The only two issue we had with the work were: had to confirm with the day crew that the porch and replacing all the screens was part of the contracted work to be done--I guess there was a mis-communication between the foreman and the crew, but it was quickly resolved when the crew lead made a call to the foreman; both days when the crew was done painting they emptied and cleaned out their paint buckets in the back corner of the back yard, which left an area of grass turned white with paint and primer--they should have some facility to clean their brushes and buckets in their vans/trucks and not have to dump them out on site. Overall though we were pleased with the work performed, and it was completed on schedule."
