"We purchased a Hague Maxpack water softener and reverse osmosis system from North Carolina Water Consultants and couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. The technicians arrived on time, were professional and accommodative of our install location preferences and answered all of our question thoroughly. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for quality whole house water filtration/softener company. You will not be disappointed."
"It’s nice to have clean Pure water from the faucets . No more chlorine in my showers or hard water film. The reverse osmosis system is the best. Clear coffee and tea . All taste 100% pure. Regular glass of water actually taste good . No more salty taste or chlorine in water. It’s the simple things in life we can enjoy. My skin rashes are leaving without the Dr’s creams and ointments. A plus when you are suffering from psoriasis. We are saving money already on soap, laundry detergent, shampoo etc. now a little dab will give a full lather. This unit will pay for itself in the health benefits alone. From the sales staff, installers, and office staff I want to say they all are professional and concerned with client satisfaction and the quality of their products. We can’t take good water for granted."
"Aaron came out to replace a (PRV) pressure reducing valve. He was professional, kind and did a great job for a reasonable price. Thanks so much Drip Doctors, I will definitely call on you again."
"Wyattworks determined the leak was from the bathroom above. They sealed the floor tub area, sealed the tub drain, and replaced the cartridge to increase the water pressure. They were professional and talked through the process of the recommended service."

"They came and gave me a quote of 4500, I needed the job done so I hired them They sent another company to suck the tank out and they discovered that my tolites was running water they had some suggestions well I repair them and that fixed my problem then the guys from superior came and run the pressure washer and the job wound up costing me 5144 and in advance I told them I was on disability and fixed income, I highly recommend looking around before taking with these guys I know I feel like I was taken advantage of, they will never do any business for me again, another company found the problem and told me how to fix it, I fixed it, and superior made the money for it to me this is a big ripoff"
Soft water is better for your hair. The minerals in hard water can dry out hair, make it brittle, and leave a film on the hair and scalp that may cause irritation. Hard water also doesn't rinse out shampoo and conditioner effectively, which can lead to product buildup that makes hair look dull and limp. You may also find you need to use more shampoo to get a good lather in hard water.
Most of the U.S. has hard water, especially across portions of the West and Midwest. The areas with the hardest water include parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Illinois, North and South Dakota, Ohio, and New York. You’ll find soft water in parts of New England, the Southeast, the Pacific Northwest, and Hawaii.
If your water softener repair is fairly straightforward, like a simple filter replacement, then you can probably do it yourself with little risk. However, anything beyond a simple fix should be addressed by someone with extensive plumbing expertise to avoid costly water softener problems, like leaks.
That said, even simple problems can be complicated to diagnose, particularly if your water softener is attached to a whole-house treatment system. So, unless you feel absolutely certain that the problem is an easy fix that you can take on yourself, it's probably best to hire a plumber to diagnose and fix the problem.
Yes. To get soft water, you can install a water softening system, which will replace the calcium and magnesium ions in the water with sodium or potassium ions. Water softeners cost anywhere from $200 to $6,000, depending on the size and complexity of the system. You can either install a water softener for the whole house or just at your shower heads. If you’re sensitive to sodium or potassium, you can install a salt-free water conditioner.
There are many possibilities for why your shower’s water pressure is low. It might be a simple-to-fix issue like the water valves being partially turned off, a dirty showerhead or hose, leaks in the plumbing, or an old showerhead. However, low water pressure in the shower could also indicate a larger issue with your home’s plumbing system.
