"My home has a chimney that was unsafe to use (cracked masonry liner). I dreaded the time and cost of a tear down and replacement. I contacted "Shamrock Chimney" and scheduled an appointment with their lead technician "Tony". He suggested a less costly and safer alternative (steel liner and a resealing of the outer brickwork. The work was performed over a two-day period. I am fully satisfied with the results. One thing I really apricate is the communication during the project. The "front office" would let me know by either phone or email when the project would start, and then Tony and would give me updates. All and all the whole process went smoothly. Also, this was my first time with "Angi", I hope to use their services again in the future."

"The items shipped were all in working order. The items were easily installed via a sticky tape attached to all the sensors. Some, like the motion detector, were just placed on a flat surface;ie. fireplace mantle. All worked correctly. The remote door sensors are great;I use them to turn off / on the alarm system before entering or after leaving the house. The control unit besides handling the security system , displays local weather - which is handy."

"We had Brick Solutions come out and give us an estimate on pouring an initial pad for our patio. Mr. Walls came out and was very professional and communicated every step of the process to us. He kept us fully involved in the process from start to finish. "Mr. Bradsher was excellent. I was able to get an appointment to have my fireplace fixed within 48 hours of contacting him and it's the coldest part of the year! It snowed the day he was scheduled to come and he kept the appointment (although we had to push back the appt time because of road conditions). He was able to fix our fireplace quickly and we're so happy to be able to enjoy the warmth of the fire on these cold nights. "I did an extensive amount of research (interviewed 8 contractors) and found Metal works to be the one for me. While they were comparable in price to others, what made the decision was the responsiveness that David, the owner provided. Within a day of coming out to measure he emailed me a detailed estimate outlining all of the work that would be done (the other companies provided me a very high level estimate). Also, David was very responsive to the many different questions I came up with. In addition, he was very helpful in assisting me with making the final color selection.
The crew that came out to do the install consisted of around 8-10 people. They worked very well together and were very in tune with each other. They worked extremely hard to complete the job in one day (7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.). And battled the mid July heat with few breaks. There were a few minor things that needed to be corrected (which one would expect given the amount of time and the heat the crew endured), however, upon contacting David the next day he was very responsive and worked around my schedule to arrange for someone to come out an address the things I was concerned with.
The items that concerned me included:- a small but noticeable crimp in one of the metal sheets on the front part of the roof- exposed calking on the ridge vent facing the street (caulking was black and roof is tan)- vibration of attic ventilation fan- air intake pipe for furnace (was in the shape of an L, but needed to be in the shape of a U)
Within a matter of about two hours each of the items listed above were resolved to my satisfaction."
