Stay far away. Do not, I repeat do not let this snake in your home. He will be your best buddy until the check clears. Read the google and yelp reviews. he took our money and now refuses to finish the job because he's too unstable and wanted to get violent so i asked him to leave my home. A few days later we wakeup to all our materials just dumped in our neighbors yard. We get an email and invoice stating we owe this scumbag more money and he will not finish our job. This is after he screws us over and the job isn't even half done and now we have an unfinished kitchen with countertop being the only work done. I hope you enjoy that 7500 dollars walt. I will make sure all of Florida know about your thieving ass

Walt and his crew did a great job. Re Facing our cabinets. They gave us some great suggestions in order to modernize our kitchen. It was great to have them be one stop shop for cabinets, countertops, and backsplash. We had a small problem one year after the job was done and they came back and fixed it right away at no charge

NewPro Cabinet Refacing renovated our kitchen. They turned an outdated, worn kitchen into a modern sophisticated masterpiece. We are extremely pleased with their work. Walt Taormina, the owner/contractor, is extremely knowledgeable in kitchen design and construction. He is very hands on and always on top of the work to be done. Walt was very happy to do extras for us such as paneling the ceiling bulkhead above our cabinets with veneer to match the wood of our kitchen. His installer, Jose, does very precise and exacting work. Jose is more a cabinet maker than just an installer. Jose also knows plumbing and electrical. They did their work efficiently and on time. There was little mess and they cleaned everything up daily. The whole team is very friendly and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend NewPro to renovate your kitchen.

Outstanding work and pricing was very fair. Workers were very conscientious about the environment, cleaned up their mess and made the experience effortless for me. The countertops and resurfacing was as good as it gets no cutting precise measurements and also excellent observations and opinions about some of the material that would look great in my bathrooms. I have use this company before on previous work in my kitchen and that’s why I rehired them. Walt and his team are exceptional.

Walt Taormina from NewPro Cabinet Refinishing recently replaced the cabinet doors in my kitchen. The process was seamless. From his initial visit, to the final punch list completion, he was so easy to work with. He made suggestions, but also listened to what my vision was for my kitchen. Most of all, Walt wanted to make sure that I was happy. Jose did the installation and worked quickly and carefully. He is a good problem solver and was able to come up with creative solutions.

I do not normally write reviews but when I contacted NewPro Cabinet Refacing I spoke with the owner Walt Taormina, and he was very polite and knowledgeable, and I was impressed that he showed up exactly on time, and has the necessary insurance that my building requires, and his installer was very polite, and very skilled as a carpenter. The soft close drawers are delightful, and I love my new modern sink with cutting board and other gadgets. You can trust Walt and his staff, they deliver as promised at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I went to eat at Chipotle and I saw a NewPro Cabinet service truck int he parking lot. I have been trying to find ways to turn my brown kitchen into white in an affordable way. I phoned the number and spoke to Walt Taormina. Walt came out and gave me a reasonable quote. I was relieved because I got a $3,000 quote from a company that was going to paint everything. Walt and Jose resurfaced my cabinets in the clean modern way I wanted. My townhome has a white theme and I needed to get rid of the brown look. I snapped a photo but I will be adding a microwave shelf above the sink. The overall look of my kitchen is clean and modern now.

Walt Taormina is banned from contacting us and we are not the first customers he has threatened and frightened to the point that he has been barred from their property. Others have experienced the same hostility and threats as well as shoddy workmanship and dishonesty. We are sharing our experience with the hope that others heed the warning. We hired Walter to renovate kitchen and reface cabinets. The positive reviews on Home Advisor are about Jose, realize that they are all focused on Jose, his carpenter (no longer with him). We never met as he and Walter had a falling out. No surprise. (His replacement is also named Jose). This was not his first falling out. Start of project- Walt told us that Elias woodworking was the best and would be making our cabinets. Two months in, Walt had a falling out with them also. We contacted Elias in Canada who politely responded. We will not be working with his company moving forward. (We also learned that Walter charged us for the stain fee that they had refunded) We expect that Walter will respond to our review defensively as he has with the other negative reviews. Apparently, defensiveness and blaming the customer are his default-- to bad reviews and whenever there is a hiccup in the project. When our countertop was cut too small, everyone was calm except for Walter who could not contain himself. His barrage of anti-Semitic, profane-laced laced texts included threatening my Navy veteran husband, challenging him to fight in a cage match and a wildly inappropriate right-winged political text and commentary about being part of a New America. He sent me an anti-Semitic message. We felt for the safety of our family, he should be prohibited from contacting us again and wrote him a text given what transpired, we think it is best. He responded with 11 texts describing what an elite athlete he was and attaching photos of his trophies. A contractor who witnessed everything that transpired came alone to finish the job. (This was his first time working with Walter). He had the integrity and skill to uncover issues that would have put our family in grave danger. What he (and an independent licensed electrician uncovered was disturbing on another level. The electrical work was shoddy and not to code. A metal conduit was cut straight through and drywalled over. (Only because the new contractor insisted on redoing the shoddy drywall job was this discovered). We learned that Jose, Walt s contractor who replaced the other Jose) was not a licensed electrician. This is how houses burn down. All of it had to be redone at our own expense. We learned that Walter is unlicensed AND uninsured. It goes on: Walt sold us a sink that he had in his garage that he overcharged us for and was damaged. He added random, undiscussed charges to our final bill, including $600 to remove the old granite counter (which sat in our driveway for weeks). Though he promised us that he did not make money in mark-ups, he marked up items as much as 500% (he charged us $120 for a $23 Lutron switch). He is not trustful. We were missing a handle from our cabinets and when we asked Walter, he feigned ignorance until finally retrieving it from his truck, explaining that he was going to use it as a sample. It is unfathomable that someone like Walter Taormina is out there getting work, terrorizing customers along the way. We agree with other reviewers who describe him as a vile human being and threatening. If he ever comes near our family or contacts us directly, we will contact the police.

Dear Amy and John, I pray for you both on a daily basis that somehow, you can both find a way to peace, and eradicate the hostility, the anger, the animosity, and hatred that lives within you both. 90% of your claims and statements are simply untruthful. I found it VERY disturbing Amy that in your kitchen you told me you don't like going out on the family boat, because it means being around people, and you flat out said: "I hate people". This is especially disturbing considering that you earn your living as a psychiatrist! And John, as you downed yet another craft beer, you got VERY talkative out back by the pool telling me ALL the details of how you hired the BEST pool company in Boca, only to find that you felt you had to take them to court. Then you went on to bragging about how you hired the next pool company and then had to end up in court with them too! We bent over backwards to do the best job for you, we have just experienced a record breaking 1st quarter, just read all the incredible reviews, in biz now for 9 years and have completed 447 total jobs, and you are 1 of only 5 negative reviews! I realize it is virtually impossible to make EVERY Boca customer happy, my team will never stop delivering the best process homeowners deserve, slightly less than 1% of ALL reviews we get are negative, the other 99% are thrilled, to where we get endless referrals, and nonstop interest from Angi! Claims of shoddy work, threats, and fear and police is just complete nonsense, it has NO credibility.. Also, Both Jose C. and Jose R. work with me Today. Jose C. was in Cuba during your job, due to his Dad passing... The reviews talk for themselves, we are A TEAM at NewPro, they will mention Jose, as they also mention myself with many compliments. I know its all about hatred and division for you, but barely 30% of the population is on board with such negativity and social destruction. Good Luck to you both! Also, Angi will drop us if we do not carry at least 1 million of liability insurance. We carry 2 million. Always have. If you would like a copy, just request it, and the certificate will have your name on it, etc...will send by email. We had a unique cabinet refacing job in our garage (not kitchen) that no one wanted to address. Walt showed up and immediately was engaged in creating a solution for our project. He came up with a cost-effective solution and had new doors made to create a clean nice new look. They did not even take a deposit so there was no trust issue found in many FL contractors. He trusted us and delivered a professional product in a timely manner. The installation was quick and looks better than expected.
