"They have a favorable AL rating so I started this process by calling this company for an estimate. I was contacted by Jim Howell, their roof inspector/ evaluator. He met with me promptly and did the inspection by getting up on the roof and gave me the estimate within 2 days. Jim also came back here a second time to meet my husband (my request) so he would have a better understanding of our roof's condition and why it should be replaced. Samples of roofing materials were brought here to determine sytle and color.
Although generally I always obtain multiple quotes from various providers I did not seek more in this case. I was so impressed by Jim Howell's explanations, courtesy, and demeanor that we went ahead with this company.
It was supposed to be a 2 all-day job. Unfortunately day #2 turned out to be a rainy day and they had to suspend working. (a Friday).
Because the crew needed to get the job done due to weather changes they came back and worked on Sunday, all day and finished!
Replacing a roof is extremely messy and Noisy! and the crew did a wonderful job of picking up nails, shingle debris, and blowing and sweeping. The crew was extremely careful throughout not damaging our bushes, lawn, and landscaping in general which I had requested before we signed the contract.
Jim also gave me some advice to repair mortar in several areas on the facade of our home. I appreciated that.
Our roof is very attractive and we know our home is protected for many years to come.
The only reason I gave a B on the Cost is because I did not obtain other bids so I couldn't compare with other companies.

We did have some collateral damage to our shrubs and flowers from the debris, and Signature offered to reimburse for the damage but most of the damage was superficial. We especially liked working with Jen and Michael, the gutter subcontractor. She was very professional and he was very efficient."

"We got an estimate on just the roof over our addition that was leaking and on the whole roof. The guy who came to do the estimate was very honest and told us that we had another 4 or 5 years left on the whole roof if we just wanted to get the addition done now. I feel he could have pushed for the whole roof, but he didn't and we appreciated that. "after work was completed we discovered a hole in the boards which should have been replaced. Iinstead the roofer put the roofing material over the hole. Prior to replacement of roof we discussed replacing any boards that needed to be replaced would not be included in the price and it would be additional charge which we were in agreement.  We have contacted the roofer via email and phone calls which he reponded and came to the house and gave us an estimate of $185.00 for a 4x8 plywood board and we gave the ok to replace.  The roofer called and stated he would be out to fix the problem the following Saturday and we have not seen the roofer or heard from him since. We have made numberous phone calls with no responce. This does leave us in a position of libability exposure if any reason an indiviual where to go on the roof and might fall through. Maybe small claims court would resolve this matter. There are pictures available if anyone wants to see the hole in the boards."
