I called Cape Fear Heating & Air (based on Angie’s list reviews) after years of having my home warranty company send different service providers to my house to assess the problem and tell me that the heat was working properly, although the heat would stop working and the house was cold. The temperature on the thermostat was much lower than what it was set to, yet the heat wouldn’t come on. The technician, Brandon, ran diagnostics & quickly found the problem. He then walked me to the unit to show me what the problem was. This was occurring right before Thanksgiving when I was expecting guests. Brandon assured me that my heat would be working properly before the first guest arrived and he was true to his promise! The heat works perfectly now! Great job! I would highly recommend this company."

"I called All American Septic on June 10, 2014 as the alarm on my septic system was going off.  I was told someone would be there that day (by noon).  Jim showed up in the afternoon (a couple of hours after the promised time, but that was okay as I was home anyway).  He quickly determined that my pump was bad, and installed a new one that afternoon.  This corrected the problem with the alarm, and my system started working again.
Jim discussed routine maintenance with me, and asked when we last had the tank pumped.  We never had this service, so he suggested coming back the next day to pump.  He also suggested replacing the control box, as there was evidence of wire burning in the box, it was cracked and had water damage.
On June 11, Jim called early in the morning to confirm we were pumping out two tanks.  He arrived on time, replaced the control box, pumped the tanks.  He was professional, courteous, friendly and helpful.  He answered all my questions.  He showed me the filter (that should have been cleaned yearly) and showed it was totally clogged and I was likely to have had inside problems very shortly if I hadn't called.

"The 5 star ratings today were for Gregâ s repair of moldy caulk and his help in educating us on the proper way to care for our shower. Greg was great and we feel better going forward, no thanks to wrong and misleading information we got from the sales staff and other contacts. We were actually told to use a KFC bucket and throw water on it to clean the shower. And the vinegar and water suggestion is NOT adequate."
