"One was successfully cleared. The second was blocked by sand for which they did not have the correct equipment (a jetting tool). Also, to clear that drain would have required digging up a line and cutting into it, since the top of the drain was too narrow (2") with too sharp a curve to follow with anything but the snake. I elected to dig up the drain rather than pay them for manual labor but haven't found it yet, so haven't had them back to complete the job."

We got quick response -- were told how to stop further leakage, and got new water heater installed the same day. Also learned about services in future that can prevent some forseeable issues. Richard was personable and professionable. He called when en route, and sent photo so we'd recognize him. He was knowledgeable, and explained situation and our options thoroughly. Then he acted expeditiously to turn a potential disaster (with company coming!) into a relatively fast "save" with no significant cleanup/damage to address afterward.
