They â servicedâ our community turf management for years and we finally had enough of the terrible conditions. We have now hired a larger company for just a marginal increase in monthly cost. Most of what we are paying up front is the expense of cleaning up the years of terrible service."

You can grow plants with shallow roots, such as grass, over the remaining pieces of your now-deceased tree. However, you should wait until they fully decay to plant anything with a larger root system.

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.
