When I need help, or If a job is too big and needs to be done in a timely fashion. I call a great selection of sub-contractors who I have known over the years and who are greatly qualified to do the job at hand. Small jobs require payment at the end of the job, and longer ones is usually divided into 3rds. Materials required for the job will have a 15% mark-up for handling. There is a minimum charge fee on smaller jobs or services.

It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

You can calculate a painting charge by starting with the square footage of the area you painted. If you painted one room that’s 11x32 feet (132 square feet), charging $5 per square foot would get you $660 in labor costs (132x5). You may also choose to charge extra for intricate work (such as baseboards or crown molding) or painting jobs done in complex locations. Then, you’ll need to charge for the materials used, including primer and paint, and tools like brushes, drop cloths, and ladders.  

You may be able to paint a high ceiling without a ladder if you have an extension pole that reaches high enough. Some extension poles have telescoping handles, allowing you to adjust the pole's length without needing to swap it out. Another option is to use a scaffold to reach high areas.

If you skip using a primer before painting brick, you risk ending up with a blotchy paint job that won’t last as long. Because of the natural variations in brick, paint can adhere and dry unevenly to different spots. When you use a primer, you put a neutralizing layer between the brick and the paint, evening the texture and color. Without a good primer, paint can also flake off in spots, come out blotchy, and wear away more easily.

Also, never underestimate how much paint you’ll need. Returning to the store is enough of a pain, let alone the streaks and uneven color you’ll get if a half-done wall dries before you can finish it.
