"I had Daniel and his team help me completely redo a room that had been left a total mess by the previous owners. They managed to fix the walls and ceilings in an extremely professional, affordable, and timely manner. I will have them help me out with some more projects in the future with no reservations. "I hired Shawn for some basic repairs (replacing exhaust fan, fixing molding, door repair, etc.) and he did an excellent job. Based on his expertise, pricing and quality of work I had him replace the flooring in my rental. He did an excellent job. I just kept giving him more tasks a d jobs until my renal looked phenomenal and I was able to place it in the market. So glad to have found him as I know I’ll use him for many jobs in the future."

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

Most retaining wall installations can be finished in one to three weeks, but the timeline varies based on factors like wall size and material. The local climate and major weather events, such as storms or flooding, can also extend the project's timeline, as can any holds ups in the permitting process.

Options include concrete, stone, brick, and wood, tailored for specific design needs.

If you've decided you'd like to skip the cost of restoring a brick exterior wall after considering whether you should repair or replace brick on your house, you can consider installing fiber cement siding over brick for a cost of $2 to $6 per square foot. When done properly, cement siding over brick offers a durable, low-maintenance option that can actually reduce your home's energy costs. It's also attractive. However, improper installation or installation over heavily compromised brick can cause water damage.

The longevity of flood walls depends on how they were constructed, but most wood, gravel, and cement flood walls last 10 years. While aluminum flood walls may cost far more initially, they can be a good investment as they can last decades and will not be damaged by exposure to the elements.

Yes, to build a retaining wall, a permit is required. Similarly, any repairs or modifications to an existing retaining wall require permits. If the planned wall measures higher than 4 feet, most municipalities require designs and permits come through a licensed engineer. In some locations, if the wall is shorter than 4 feet, a permit may not be required. For the requirements in your area, contact your local government.
