"They were extremely flexible with my timeline and were very professional. I had a limited window of opportunity for them to do the job and they were there on time and done efficiently for my 2000 sq/ft home. Very reasonably priced and offered a discount for using Angie's List. My carpets were brought back to life again! Extremely satisfied with their work."

"Daquiri Wright came and did a thorough inspection of my siding, roof and windows. He helped me with updating my home and lowering my energy bill. He was informative, knowledgeable, and easy to work with! He broke everything down in a way that made sense to me. He clearly loves DaBella, and feels he is offering the best possible products. He made sure I knew that all of his products are American made and come with a lifetime warranty. I've needed to remodel for awhile, but I just kept pushing it off. I really dreaded even starting the process. Thanks to Daquiri coming out for a free inspection, the process has started and I am excited to see the end result! 10/10"

"Josh was very professional, friendly, and efficient. He was hired long distance and kept me informed throughout the inspection and produced the report when he said he would. Contractors who were hired to make repairs worked off his report and noted his report was accurate and thourogh."

Home Inspection FAQs, answered by experts

You should schedule a fireplace inspection at least once a year, per the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). However, this is the minimum requirement even if you’re diligent with fireplace maintenance between uses. If you suspect your fireplace is malfunctioning, schedule one sooner to avoid fire hazards or the release of harmful emissions like carbon monoxide in your home.

The standard home inspection period is typically around 10 days from when your offer is accepted, but this can range from one week to 21 days. The exact duration depends on factors like your location, the current state of the housing market, and how quickly the seller needs to close the deal. This period is the time you have to conduct a home inspection and decide whether to move forward with the purchase or back out. To confirm your specific timeline, you should check your offer agreement, as the language defining the inspection period will be included there.

Yes, your homeowners insurance can cover water damage. Just how much your plan covers depends on the company and plan you chose, so read the fine print of your homeowners insurance plan to see how much your insurance company might cover, document the damage, and contact them to submit a claim and have an assessor inspect the damage.

The age of the well, installation methods, and maintenance logs can affect your home insurance premiums and any potential future claim. Mortgage companies can request proof of water quality before they approve the loan. Review all well information, including the Shared Well Agreement, before you make an offer to purchase.

Most LED bulbs have a plastic covering, while incandescent bulbs will be made from glass. This is because LED bulbs don’t produce as much heat as incandescent bulbs, so the covering doesn’t need to be as heat resistant. Also, an LED light bulb will usually have a marking on its base that identifies it as an LED.
