"cooper was our installer. He was veryprofessional and did excellent work. The job he did looks great. What a great employe he is for bath fitter. Better than five star. The only problem I have is I ended up with a shower without a corner shelf or soap dish. This is the first shower I have seen with out these. Gary White"

"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. Now, I am confident that it wasn't a leak and caused by putting in the dishes in a funny manner and not a repair issue. I am using the dishwasher now again with no problem. 3. I determined with Thomas' help that the washing machine had a major problem and could have spun out of control into my wall....no question, it was time to get a new washing machine! This was a well spent $40.00--I even got Thomas advice on purchasing a new washing machine and what to look for. 4. I checked the drainage on my kitchen sink and learned how to empty out the "trap" and that most likely, I am okay, but what to swap out if I have continuing issues with slow drainage. In the end, I saved lots of money, gaining and learning valuable experience! Absolutely fabulous service!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Build your seasonal plumbing routine around the Bozeman climate. Inspect exterior hose bibs and crawl space insulation in late summer. Drain irrigation systems and flush your water heater every October. Monitor your water pressure closely throughout the winter to catch hidden freezes. During the spring thaw, check for cracked exterior pipes and test your well water quality to ensure your system remains completely safe.

Helpful?

Prioritize any plumbing vulnerability that risks freezing before October. Address active leaks near your foundation immediately, as Bozeman features clay-heavy soils that shift and cause structural damage when saturated. Treat winter water heater failures and slow drains in older neighborhoods as emergencies. Conversely, schedule cosmetic fixture upgrades, minor summer drips, or irrigation system repairs during warmer months when freezing is not a threat.

Helpful?

After finishing plumbing work in MT, schedule a final municipal inspection before closing your walls. Flush your water lines thoroughly and test for sediment, especially in historic neighborhoods. Always verify that exposed pipes and new connections in crawl spaces are heavily insulated before the first fall freeze hits. Finally, save all inspection records and warranty documents, as future buyers frequently request this history.

Helpful?

Postponing plumbing repairs in MT creates severe safety and property hazards. Delaying pipe insulation or leak repairs into winter leads to catastrophic burst pipes when temperatures drop below zero. Unresolved leaks saturate surrounding clay soils, causing frost heave and foundation movement. Additionally, neglected maintenance results in denied homeowner insurance claims and expired building permits. Address issues promptly to protect your home from extensive damage.

Helpful?

Upgrading your plumbing directly boosts your daily comfort in Bozeman. Installing water softeners combats the hard water from local creeks, protecting your fixtures from heavy mineral buildup. Adding pipe insulation and maintaining your water heater ensures consistent warmth during freezing winters. For older homes, replacing aging pipes improves water pressure and safety. Maintaining your system keeps your home cozy and functional throughout the year.
