"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

Small jobs welcome

"We moved from Canada to the U.S. as a family, and at first it felt like a lot to take on. The process moved forward steadily, our things were handled carefully, and nothing went missing or got damaged. Everything arrived in Denver when expected. For a move of this size and distance, it stayed manageable and didn?t turn into the chaos we were worried about."

"Great communications while arranging and during the day of the move, and the crew was very personable and professional. After our initial phone conversation, Jacob and I were able to set up the move via email. I sent photos and measurements and many queries that were promptly answered. The team was able to accommodate my desire to have an outdoor cat enclosure moved without disassembly, and were flexible while I determined whether I could pack everything or required their assistance. Despite a blizzard that made moving day very challenging and treacherous, the move was successful, with no breakage and no injuries. I would definitely use their services again."

"Mike helped me move out of my 4000sq/ft house. It was a big day of lifting carrying and stacking objects and he was capable and up for the challenge. Fun guy to spend a day with and went beyond the expectation, all for a fraction of the cost of the other quotes I received. Would recommend if you need a few extra hands for a move."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving brokers are required to advertise that they aren’t moving carriers. While it might be buried in the text of the ad, they need to say somewhere that they aren’t the provider of moving services. Moving brokers should also display their Department Of Transportation number in their advertising. Read all of the advertising materials carefully and ensure your moving company is registered.

There are generally three ways to ship furniture to another state: hiring professional movers, using consolidated freight, or through parcel shipping. Professional movers will generally pack your boxes in a truck and transport them to a storage facility or directly to your home.

A consolidated freight service will pack, load, and ship your items, but this is best to use for one or two pieces since your items will take longer to be delivered and will share truck space with other items. Parcel shipping such as UPS and FedEx is best for smaller items since there are size limits, and you’ll have to drop the boxes off at a local branch.

Using moving pods is generally cheaper than hiring a full-service moving company, primarily because you handle the packing and loading yourself, which eliminates labor costs. The cost savings are most significant for long-distance or cross-country moves; for local moves, hiring a moving company might be the more economical option. Renting and shipping moving pods can cost between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on factors like distance, the number of containers, and the weight of your items. Some services also charge a monthly rental fee of $75 to $200. In comparison, hiring a professional moving company for a long-distance move typically costs between $2,700 and $10,000.

It’s best to schedule a moving pod two months before your moving date. This should give you enough time to secure the correct size and number of moving pods you need. It’s often possible to book moving pods on shorter notice, even within one week, but there’s a higher risk of local pods already being taken, especially if you’re moving during the summer or on a holiday or weekend.

Some companies offer supplies like dollies and furniture pads for an additional fee. Confirm availability when renting.
