"We called Bath Fitters of Utah after getting quotes from several other places. The price was 40% less than the others, and the materials are excellent. John and Brayden showed up on time notwithstanding a big snow fall, then worked steady all day to remove our old tub, install the new tub and shower, clean up and leave everything perfect. They were great to work with, and we will absolutely recommend them to friends and family. John and Nancy, Millcreek"

"Upon arrival, we showed Jim the room where we had a terrible odor. He went into the basement area to check for any leaks. Next he identified the toilet as the culprit. The toilet had not been installed properly and a piece below the toilet was cracked not allowing the correct seal. Before fixing anything, we were shown the problem, told what the cost would be, and then after getting the go-ahead, he fixed the problem. It is great to be able to leave that door open! While he was looking for leaks in the basement area, Jim mentioned that the pipes had been located in areas that they should not be. He measured and gave us an estimate on relocating the pipes, which we will have done within the next two weeks. We are extremely pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend Wild West Plumbing!

"Very professional. Jeromy wore a mask. He was polite and cleaned up the area after the install. I have a Choice Home Warranty and called them for the plumbing repairs. All i had to pay was a contractor service fee. In the future if i need a plumber i will ask for the Company OSP Plumbing in the Henderson/ Las Vegas Nevada area and ask for Jeromy."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

In Butte, a slow drip in late fall points to severe freeze-expansion risks. Discolored water or low pressure in older homes indicates failing pipes. Watch for recurring drain backups or yard wet spots, which signal underground pipe shifts from historic mining subsidence. A gurgling toilet during spring snowmelt means the municipal sewer lateral is under pressure. Address these plumbing warnings immediately to prevent major damage.

Helpful?

Uncovering asbestos insulation or lead solder in historic homes requires specialized abatement and disposal. Excavation for underground plumbing in MT demands deep digging to bypass the 48-inch frost line, extending labor time. Digging also exposes unstable soils from historic mining operations, requiring extra shoring equipment. Opening walls frequently reveals outdated electrical systems or structural damage that demands coordination with other licensed professionals.

Helpful?

Schedule a final inspection to verify your plumbing work is safe and compliant. Test your water quality for lead if the project disturbed supply lines in an older Butte home. Inspect new exterior pipes for proper insulation before the early freeze season hits. Monitor the ground for shifting or wet spots after underground work, and report completed projects to your homeowners insurance carrier.

Helpful?

When planning plumbing projects, account for extreme frost depths. Exterior pipes must sit at least 48 inches deep to survive MT winters. Prepare to navigate hazards like asbestos insulation and lead solder in historic homes. High elevations also cause lower baseline water pressure, affecting fixture performance. Always secure required permits and schedule inspections before closing any walls to ensure your system meets strict safety standards.

Helpful?

Purely cosmetic updates rarely require permits, but functional plumbing modifications demand strict regulatory oversight. In older Butte homes, replacing a fixture often uncovers corroded valves or damaged subfloors, turning a cosmetic update into a functional repair. Functional work altering exterior walls in historic districts requires preservation compliance. Permitted functional repairs provide essential documentation for your insurance carrier and add value during a home sale.
