I called him, a couple hours later he showed up, did the work and left.?All five toilets are now working again. I would recommend them to a friend, definitely. If memory servces me it was around $400 & $700, Im not sure.It depends on the size of the septic tank they pump out. They were backed up and three hours later they showed up and took care of it

The folks at Danny Miller were professional and polite and responded quickly to our problem. They seemed concerned to do quality work with quality parts, but the charges were less than we expected. They were also very patient with the questions our home warranty company asked in order for us to be reimbursed. I would definitely call them again if we need plumbing or septic work done

Our tub stopped draining as I was getting ready go to work on Monday morning. I checked the toilet and it was also draining slowly. When I removed the cap on the cleanout behind the house I confirmed that the drain was not running to the septic tank. I checked the tank and it wasn't close to full. Conclusion: blocked drain line. Called Danny Miller Plumbing around 11:00 AM. They seemed to be nice folks - professional, courteous, and good communicators. They gave me a per/hour labor cost up front, but could not predict materials needed or total time without looking at the job site. Their office staff kept in touch and got a crew out the next morning. They identified the problem by using a closed circuit TV camera inserted in the drain. It seems that the original installer ran the drain to, but not into the tank. This left a butt joint sealed with concrete. Over time it slipped out of alignment. This blocked the end of the drain. Danny Miller's crew foreman gave us an estimate. We agreed and they dug the area up, installed a new section of pipe that went all the way into the tank, sealed the joint and covered it up. They were done and out by 2:00 PM. The cost was exactly as estimated. Considering the time, material and equipment involved, the cost seemed reasonable. We've used them before and have had good results

Garner's Backhoe Service LLC
5.0
Mr. Garner was very professional and expert with the backhoe, accomplishing the tasks in good time and efficiently. He helped me think through some details about landscaping this particular lot, and he took a lot of time making sure we avoided even the possibility of hitting underground utilities or any old septic tanks that may have been abandoned on this old property. Reasonable price, too, especially considering the distance he had to travel to get here. Good job and pleasant to deal with

Jason Garner provided excellent, professional landscaping services to include provision of all materials at reasonable cost. Last year he installed a new septic tank and drain field, graded, prepared and installed a limestone circular driveway at this location. He stays within budget and works hard to meet the time projections. He is trustworthy and does good work

B & L VACUUM SVC

I called Band L on 1/8/2014 to schedule the first service on my septic tank since it was installed 23+ years ago (yes, I'm embarrassed to say that but it's never backed up on us). They were scheduled to send out a truck the next day - I asked for an early appointment and they said they'd try. Well, morning came and went, half the afternoon came and went so I called them back. They said the truck was broken down at the processing plant and they were going to send another truck to the plant for the driver to bring over. Shortly after that they called back and said they couldn't do that but would send another truck closer to my location. The driver of that truck called about 45 minutes later to make sure of my address and I met him shortly after that. After backing up to the tank (I'd uncovered it the day before) it turned out the vacuum portion of the truck wasn't working so nothing could be done. The driver (Dave) said he though he knew what the problem was (a clogged strainer) but he couldn't open it in the yard without killing the grass. He and his helper left to go back to the shop to fix it - since it was late they weren't going to come back in the dark. Dave called me later in the evening to say it was fixed and he'd be out around 7:30 in the morning. On the 10th they showed up bright and early and it went without a hitch. Both Dave and his helper were professional, cheerful and responsive to my questions. I would hire them again but in another 23 years I doubt I'll be on this earth

B & L VACUUM SVC

B and L provided same day, professional service. I am very satisfied with this company. I called at 8:30 am, and received same day service at 2:30 pm. I was charged the price quoted; $200 for the pumping, and an additional $25 for the convenience of writing a check. I was notified that there would be an additional charge of $45 for digging up and removing the lid (this was unnecessary, however, as my husband had already done this). I was told the service tech would arrive at approximately noon. He did not arrive until 2:30, so not very punctual. But considering I received same day service when competing companies would not offer this, the lateness did not bother me. The service tech (Mike Van) was very professional and cordial. He left no mess and was very competent with the vacuum truck in my yard. It started to rain as he was working, and he did not seem to mind at all, just continued working. He provided advice on how to prevent septic tank issues in the future. I would recommend this company to friends and family

"Shields Septic Tanks provided a stress-free, professional installation for my future home. Sam, the owner, was easy to talk to, and he completed the job when he said he would. I highly recommend Shields Septic Tanks. When he billed me, the amount was at a lesser amount than his estimate. When he was onsite, he even pulled up an old tree stump that he noticed inside the building's footprint. How nice was that?

Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
If you’re wondering whether it’s safe to grow plants over your septic tank, the answer is yes, as long as you stick with plants that have shallow root systems to avoid damaging the septic system. Learn the best plants to install over a septic tank.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
