We are proud to call TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Jackson the first franchise in Mississippi. Since launching the business here over 27 years ago, we have grown from two trucks to a fleet of 17 trucks. We are locally owned and operated and on the same street we started on in Ridgeland. We have also grown from eight employees to 50! \n\nFrom residential, multifamily to commercial moves, we are licensed to do local, intrastate, long-distance moves, packing services and junk removal. We can customize any move to your specific needs if it’s just an internal move within the house, or going across town or across the country.

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Untreated lumber can be easily reused, recycled, or composted, depending on your needs and plans for future projects. If you’d rather get the excess wood off of your property, you can donate it to a lumber yard or reach out to neighbors and friends to see if they could use it.

Costs depend on concrete thickness, removal method, labor, and disposal fees.

There are a few ways you can save money on concrete disposal, including hiring a company that specializes in the service. While you’ll pay for the labor, professional removal companies can save you money on dumping fees if they can recycle or sell the old concrete. If possible, you can also do your own concrete demolition, which can cut down on labor costs. Paying for haul-away service only, you could save between $1.50 and $5.50 per square foot of concrete instead of paying for demolition and removal.

The most affordable way to dispose of hazardous waste is to find a local disposal program that accepts hazardous materials with no dumping fees. These programs are available in many communities and are funded by local governments. If you can transport your hazardous materials to the dumping site, you can often get rid of everything at no cost.

To clean an estate, start by locating all important documents, which you’ll need to sort through. Have the mail forwarded, change the locks, and take inventory of the entire estate. Once you know what you’re dealing with, create a plan and a timeline for the cleanout. Start clearing out rooms and sorting items to donate, sell, or get rid of. Finally, deep clean the property.
