Beyond excellent. Great crew. Cannot say enough good things. Would never hire anyone else but this team. The trees that were removed were in very precarious places - beside a pool/fence, beside our garage, one beside my husband's shop, and one less than 10 feet from our house with 3 central systems beneath it. They were limited to working in only 2 directions, in a very tight space but after meeting as a team and discussing the best approach, they accomplished the task effortlessly. All large limbs were secured by a rope pulley system and manned by a crew as they were lowered to the ground. All work was done using a boom, never using spikes on any of the trees! You want your tree work done by these folks. You won't be disappointed. Oh yes, you won't see them disappear to go eat lunch - they took turns going to the truck and eating lunch while the others kept working. Impressive for sure! Though we didn't know it was required, they had obtained the city permit needed to perform the work. I'm telling you, it was worth every penny we paid to have THIS team transform our back yard without a single problem. Not to mention we had a blast watching them in action. Amazing, simply amazing.

Big John's removed 1 tree and trimmed another for me yesterday. Service was great, clean up was great. Excellent company to work with.

I called and no one answered the phone. It went to voicemail and I left a message with my name, telephone number and a brief description of the work to be performed. I never heard back from them.

They did an excellent and very organized job. All the right equipment and know-how to run it. Smooth operation.

He gives excellent service, and very professional, and had all the right equipment, and they came come when they say they will. Their cleanup is outstanding, the get every little twig, and blow off any dust on the driveway.

He came and looked at it, gave me an estimate but he was honest in telling me it wasn't an urgency to have it done. He was a down to earth and I'd use his services and recommend highly!

There was some initial delay getting the work done due to inclement weather. However, once they were on site, they were very professional and efficient in getting the job completed. They also did a very nice job cleaning up afterwards and left the area in good condition. I would highly recommend their work.

Good, very professional

This was the first time I've used a tree service and could not have asked for a better experience. The crew was very professional and performed excellent work. The crew was in and out with very little impact to my yard. They left the work site exactly how they found it. Ken Anderson of Big John's was great to work with. He understood the urgency of removing the dead trees and did his best to get his guys out there as soon as possible. A tree top actually fell before the trees could be removed (see picture) and slightly damaged some fence boards. Ken offered to replace them without hesitation. Based on the service I received, I would most definitely use Big John's again and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking tree removal services.

The overall experience was very good. These guys did an exceptional job in a short amount of time. The entire crew was very professional and polite. There was some disconnect on getting a date scheduled at first, but Ken made sure everything went as planned. I would highly recommend Ken and his guys for any type of tree service.

Ken, who I talked to while scheduling was kind and courteous. He came out and gave me an estimate. He was prompt. When he arrived, he gave me an estimate that I thought was fair. He gave me a date the following week to remove the trees. He showed up again on time and had plenty of help and equipment to do the work. He got the work done in 2 hours. I expected it to take longer. The workers were friendly and professional. I am very satisfied with the work and would give him the highest rating possible.

They arrived on time, took care of all my tree cutting needs within about a couple of hours and left no trace of them being there. Very friendly and professional guys. Except for the communication problem I was thoroughly satisfied.
