"Arrived a day late, indicating that they "had been out late the night before". Removed the sub-floor on day 1/2 and found that the sub floor was 5/4 instead of the 3/4 that they had planned. Except they didn't bother telling ME that until the last day and advised that they could fix the 1/2 step running down the middle of my living room and kitchen for twice the price. I spent $400 and 5 days on my hands and knees fixing this problem. Damage done to walls that was not repaired, 2 doors need to be re-hung, siding removed from the back of the house (other option was the demolition of most of my kitchn cabinets) that is still not hung back up. Most days for the crew started at around 9:30-10:00 and ended about 3:30 in the afternoon. Did I mention that my wife and I were in a local hotel for then entirety of the repair process. To say that I am very unhappy with my experience with Foundation recovery systems would be an understatement. I will not refer them and never use them again."

It all started back in 2022 when a respectful salesperson Gary sold me on an underground bunker. Still to this day, he answers the phone for me, and he doesn't even work at Rising S company anymore. To keep a long story shorter, I paid over $100K for my unit after being pushed to make payments to 'keep it on the assembly line'. It has been paid in full since August of 2023 (just about 15 months for anyone counting). I received a response (finally) earlier this year in March that there is new ownership of the company, and the man in charge is Brad Dancer. After trying to contact for quite awhile, I did finally get him on the phone. He apologized and explained to me that he's in over his head. Even though I believe I have been more than patient, I agreed to give him some time to finish and deliver my unit. We agreed that August of this year (2024) I would have it. I checked in by email in June to ask if we were still on track. I received a response that we were indeed on track. Now fast forward to today (10/25/24), I have been completely ghosted by email, phone, and text. No responses at all by ANY form of communication. At this point, I realize I have been robbed of over $100K. And after reading many other consumers reviews on different platforms, it appears I'm not the only one. I will now begin my journey with the Attorney General and Legal process. I'll update my status here so anyone can see what happens. At least people can get answers some way. It is not a good feeling to not be able to get a company to call you, especially after they've taken over $100k. You can't even leave a message on the office line ( which no one has EVER answered by the way). I don't understand how a company like this could still be in business.
