Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement

Frank diagnosed the problem accurately and informed me of what needed to be done to fix it. Frank was very knowledgeable, honest and direct. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Very pleased, would use again and highly recommend to others.

They were responsive to every call, did the work professionally and cleaned up nicely.  We would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.  We had two leaning columns in the back yard that are now straight and piered so they will never shift again.  They then removed a large area of cracked cement and relayed.  It looks fantastic!

•        Frank's team at Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement identified that my cracked basement wall and fireplace foundation had settled 1 1/2" along one side of my home, and needed 12 piers installed to lift and stabilize the foundation to prevent further cracking.    Frank provided a competitive estimate for pier jacking, based on other pier jacking I had had done on a front porch and laundry room slab, but he used a far more sophisticated technology than the other company I had used in the past.
•        They first removed a 560 sq foot cedar deck, then excavated with a Bobcat down to the base of the foundation wall.   The gentleman running the excavator operated with surgical precision, leaving a clean wall and trench for the next phase.   They preserved the shrubs I wanted saved, and the only ancillary damage was a pinched gas line for my bbq, which Frank had repaired immediately after the job was completed.   My wife was impressed that they salvaged the deck boards and reused them for roof joists on another project, and salvaged the old bricks from an underlying brick patio and provided them to another who needed a patio but could not afford bricks. 
•       The pier jacking involved driving 12 heavy steel pipes down to the solid subground (not down to bedrock) using a hydraulic press, then using those same presses and hydraulic rams to lift the foundation of the home 1 1/2 inches when all of the pipes were in place.  They then bolted and welded the pipes to the lifting flanges, making the lift permanent, and cut off the excess pipe.  The team brought in a Bobcat front loader to backfill the excavation after putting a waterproof sealant on the outside of the exposed basement wall, again operating it with surgical precision.  
•       Through the entire process, Frank and his team communicated what they were doing, and met the schedule that they had proposed.   The site was left very clean, with all of the debris removed and the area of the lawn that was covered with excavated debris was scraped clean and ready for reseeding.

My husband and I began notcing cracks in our basement walls within the last few months so we contacted Frank to diagnose the problem. It was fine. They did what they were supposed to do. It took a little longer than expected because they had a new worker but I couldn't be mad about that because they have to train new people. They did a good job. If they are going to send somebody brand new, they should have sent two experienced workers. They were honest and fair.

Two years ago my wife and I noticed that our foundation was beginning to settle.  We had huge cracks in the dry-wall and our front door wasn't opening and closing properly. We decided to contact Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement, owner Frank Matyiko.  He got a structural engineer to our house.  The engineer recommended that we needed twelve piers in order to fix our foundation.  the entire construction project went as planned.  Advance Foundation provided us with a transferable warranty in case we decided to sell our home.

Foundation Repair - our house had to be raised about 3 inches. Frank and his crew were very professional, kept to their schedule. Frank spent extra time with my parents to explain the scope of work and minimize the disruption to their lives. Two years ago I had our foundation worked on by what I thought was a reputable company.  We had huge verticle and horizontal cracks in our foundation walls and settlement issues along the basement walls.  The company said the basement needed to be peired in various locations along with wall anchorstp prevent pressure from the soil.  We have 75 feet of basement wall to repair....We had the work completed costs us 34,000 and we got a guarentee... All is good right, not so much. The cracks began to open up and as the house continued to settle the foundation was unstable.  Our guarentee turned out to be not so much as the salesman who came back told us it was an act of God that caused the failure and that is not covered by thier guarentee.... We love our home and were not prepared to walk away.  A friend from work told me about Advanced foundation repair and replacement. knew and had worked with Frank Matyiko the owner and I called him for a quote.  Frank explaind to an angry me that the original foundation company had good intentions but it was not the way to fix our foundation issue.  It needed to be replaced! We hired Advanced Foundations repair and replacement to redo a section of our basement.  Advanced, Franks team slightly raised our floor which took off the weight, then they cut the section of the wall that was cracked and settleing and demolished the wall section.A new footing was poured along with a new wall without a crack in sight to this day. 
So essentially 75 feet of wall was taken out and replaced while our home was supported by the most modern hydraulic jacks I have ever seen. It was like a subdivision party, the neighbors were very impressed with thier work and professionalism and one even had Frank come out the next week to look at thier repair needs.  I highly recoomend Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement, wish I had called them first...

Everything went as planned !!!  Very happy!!

A year ago we noticed we needed help with our foundation.  Our basement wall was leaning inward and our front wall was settling because of poor drainage.  Frank Matyiko with Advanced foundation piered the front of the house and took out and re poured us  a new back basement wall... twenty-seven foot of wall and six piers.
Excellent job guys!! 

I can't go much further than telling you that everytthing went great and I hope we don't need their services again... If we do, we know who we will call.

Our basement wall had settled over five inches.  They piered the front basement wall and brought it back up to level.  The basement wall was beyond repair.   They cut a section of the back basement wall and demolished the entire back wall and poured me a new basement back wall.  Great job guys!!!

After my Father passed away, and while I was getting ready to sell his house, I noticed the floors did not seem level and they seemed to be getting increasingly worse. I called Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement to see if they could fix the problem. The owner, Frank Matyiko, came to the house the very next day and diagnosed the problem.  He concluded that the main structural support beam was a rotting wood beam and that it needed to be replaced with an engineered approved steel beam that could support the weight of the floor. I decided to take his advice and proceed. The owner, Frank Matyiko, came out the following week and performed the work in a timely and professional manner.
Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement leveled the floors with the steel I beam and concreted steel column posts in the basement floor to help support the floor. The floors are perfectly level now.  The team cleaned the job site and were very polite.
Calling Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement was the best thing I could have done.  During a very stressful time, they came in, gave me great advise, got the job done in a reasonable time so I could proceed with the sale.

Owner, Frank Matyiko came out to inspect my home and give me a bid for the repairs needed.  He was very prompt at getting back to me and coming out to look at my home.  He was very informative and spoke to me in a way I could understand.  I had them replace a portion of my basement wall along the back side of my house, that had been leaking for some time.  I scheduled the work with him after signing the contract.  Advanced Foundation completed my job in a timely manner and cleaned up after they were done.  I will definitely recommend Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement to any friends or family that have any foundation issues.  I will also use them in the future should I have any other problems.  A big thank you to Frank and his company for fixing my home.

I am writing this review to let other homeowners know that if they are unfortunately in need of foundation repair that the best company capable of handling the job is Advanced foundation repair & replacement. I have a two story home. The entire back and side wall had settled over six inches ( a total distance of seventy five feet). At the side of the house we have a masonry fireplace that had settled significantly as well. Then owner Frank Matyiko hooked up his exclusive unified jacking machine. Frank provided us with a licensed structural engineer that stamped all fazes of construction. He assured me that our house would be a piece of cake. He was right. Advanced leveled the back of my house along with the fireplace with his unified machine. Not a crack in the house. Not a crack in the fireplace. Five years ago my wife and I had our house pierced. We thought the company was reputable and would stand by their product. We had over 25 piers installed. However our basement foundation continued to settle. We thought we had a lifetime warranty. At least that's what the salesman told us, but when we called him back out the company could not stand by it because it was an act of god that their product failed. We called Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement. Frank Matyiko came out the next day with a structural engineer and they concluded that the only fix would be a new basement. They cautiously demolished our old foundation and hauled it away. We have a new 9 foot basement. We wish we never paid for the piercing originally. They provide service for the smallest foundation to the most radical job imaginable. Great job guys!!!

Our front basement wall settled four inches and it caused our front door not to open.  It was very unpleasant.  Advanced Foundation Repair & Replacement installed eight piers and raised our wall level.  Owner Frank Matyiko oversaw the entire project.  All of his employees worked hard and were clean.  Hiring Advanced was the right thing to do!!!
