He repaired a section of vinyl siding that had come loose and ripped off in a storm. He fixed that and then proactively repaired and reinforced some other areas that were likely to come loose down the road. Great work."

"I can’t say enough good things about Richie Builders. I never dreamed this project could be completed so quickly, professionally and perfectly. They tore down a CNN load bearing wall between my living room and b kitchen, installed a beam, finished with drywall, texture and installed flooring where we removed cabinets. They started the job one week after I accepted their proposal. The three young men doing the construction were at my home by 7 every morning and worked until they had to break for drywall setup etc. They were all friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable, answering any questions I had. "Inadequate footing was poured for the 2 main posts. I requested a 3 post and told it was adequate. Within weeks one of the 2 posts buckled. It was repaired and a 3rd post added. The added 3rd post also had inadequate footing. The entire deck began to sag. The last day they were here they left tools in the yard and never returned. THEN I hired another contracted who had to lift the entire deck up with a series of jacks. The old footings barely were deeper than ground level (on a slope). New footings were poured and main posts were all re-aligned. Numerous lag bots were added. Hurricane ties were used to keep the roof from lifting in strong winds. Three posts were added where the deck was anchored to the side of the house. Two more posts were added at the exterior stairway and on the opposite side of the deck to prevent sway. A Double stringer was used to reinforce for sagging down the underside of the middle of the deck. If not for the work by the 2nd contractor I believe the deck would have shifted and collapsed."

"Project took longer than expected even with a team of 4-5 guys in and out a day. Everything that went wrong or caused them delay was somehow our houses fault or the items we bought to be replaced. We bought sticky floor plastic to put down on our floors/stairs after 2 days because the floor covering they were using were useless and was causing our carpet to get stains. At times we could hear team members complaining about the job which was very unprofessional since we were paying them. When the shower head and handle were installed it was not attached to anything so the wall would just bend in if lightly pushed. This was fixed after my husband brought it up. Early on we expressed our concerned for the drywall finishing on one side of the shower but we’ were assured it would be fixed and smoothed out but was not the case and was just painted over and left. Paid 200$ for trim/ install and some was left scratched up and unfinished. The sanding/ painting is very sloppy and left unfinished in my opinion. After they claimed complete went to take a shower and had no hot water. Informed them and was told I they thought it was our hot water heater when actually it was because the plumber didn’t check the setting of the handle befor leaving. He had to come back to adjust. Not even 24hours after they “completed” our bathroom the transition strips came off and we had to attach them ourselves. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut and needed to be trimmed we let them know but there was no response. Do not pay until you are 100% happy with their work or you may be ghosted."
