"I hired this company to extend the natural gas in my house and would definitely recommend them. I felt that the plumber who did the installation really knew what he was doing and seemed like a great guy. The installation went well and the price was fair."

"The people on the phone and the workers that worked at my house were fantastic. Damien and Ernest were the installer's top rate people. Jack, their license plumber was polite and funny. The only person we didn't care for was Keith He only stopped by to look at what was going on. He was a little rude to my wife and Made her feel Like she was second class in her own home. We Were very shocked by that. We would definitely recommend Jacuzzi to our friends."

"I called Mr. Rooter because I had called another Plumbing company to come out the night before and they were a no show.  They were extremely friendly over the phone.  I called at approx 8AM and said they'd be able to come out by 11AM.  They called at about 9:30 to say someone was available to come out now and I said that was perfect.  They arrived at 10AM.

Jason was the plumber who arrived and he was very very friendly and professional.  I told him the problem and we discussed pricing up front.  I had a coupon which he said they would definitely honor.  He immediately got to work.  He wore footies over his shoes while in the house.  He worked diligently and answered all of my questions.  After about an hour and being certain the line was clear he cleaned up, we took care of payment which was exactly what was discussed beforehand, and he was on his way.

A very pleasant and hassle free experience.  I will definitely be calling Mr. Rooter for the Franklin County area again for any plumbing needs and would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work.

The job also comes with a 30 day warranty which I thought was great and definitely put my mind at ease just in case something happened again."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

Straightforward fixture replacements take a single day, while whole-house repipes in older Washington homes require three to seven days of active work. You must add several days for local permit processing and mandatory inspection appointments. Expect longer scheduling lead times during peak seasonal demand, especially after winter pipe bursts. Planning your plumbing upgrades for late spring or fall guarantees faster scheduling with local professionals in MO.

Helpful?

Homeowners frequently underestimate the timeline for acquiring local permits and scheduling mandatory MO state code inspections. These required hold points pause your plumbing work completely. You must also account for freezing winter temperatures that severely limit your viable working window for exterior pipes. Opening walls in older Washington properties exposes unexpected conditions like deteriorated framing, asbestos insulation, and mixed pipe materials that require additional contractors to resolve.

Helpful?

Homes built before 1970 in Washington are excellent candidates for plumbing upgrades due to outdated cast iron drains and galvanized pipes. You must check with city officials regarding lead service lines in pre-1986 properties. Your home's crawl space or full basement makes pipe access highly feasible compared to slab foundations. Properties in MO flood zones require inspections for prior damage that affects your existing pipes and infrastructure.

Helpful?

In Washington, lower-lying homes near the Missouri River experience water intrusion that mimics plumbing leaks, requiring foundation repair instead. Older homes feature galvanized steel pipes that cause discolored water and low pressure, which you should not mistake for fixture failures. Franklin County's hard water creates mineral scale buildup, reducing appliance performance. Slow drains in older neighborhoods indicate tree root intrusion into city lateral connections rather than interior plumbing issues.

Helpful?

Prepare for plumbing emergencies by locating your main shutoff valve near the water meter. Before freezing Washington temperatures arrive, protect vulnerable exterior pipes by letting your faucets drip. You can safely restore water flow by cleaning mineral buildup from your faucet aerators and showerheads. Test your sump pump float switch by pouring water directly into the pit. Always report street-level infrastructure issues directly to local MO city officials.
