A beautiful, new bathroom doesn’t have to mean weeks of workers, debris and expense. Over 30 years ago, Re-Bath reinvented bathroom remodeling with a quick and convenient solution. Since then, we’ve renovated millions of bathrooms with our high quality DuraBath SSP™ material cleanly, quickly and affordably without interrupting life at home. And it often takes just a few days to complete your customized bathroom. Re-Bath presents you with an alternative to worn out bathtubs, outdated tile walls and dingy shower bases. We offer a range of replacement bathtubs, walk-in bathtubs, bathtub to shower conversions and much more. We’re sure you’ll find it’s easier to enjoy a long soak or refreshing shower when you’re surrounded by a freshly renovated bathtub or shower.

"Be careful before doing business with this company. Make sure you take very detailed pictures of all surrounding areas before any work gets started. You will need them as proof if they damage any area not explicitly being worked on and will not take any accountability if they do damage other areas like windows, wallls, and ceiling. You are on your own for the repairs. In addition, there were multiple communication and knowledge gaps in some basic areas of scheduling and permit management. I was even told that they had moved on from my project before final inspection was completed when I had a simple question regarding the inspection. Very lacking in customer service and now have lost confidence in the work and warranty should additional issues arise."

"Back in 2013 we decided to get my mother a walk-in tub. Gary with Bath Innovations Walk-In Bathtubs & Remodeling did a great job. His team was on time, and took out the old tub and installed a walk-in tub . Other companies give us bids but we went with Gary's tub, not just for the lower price but the tub sold us. It's still running and looks great."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

You can resurface or reglaze your bathtub, and it’s faster and less expensive than replacing a bathtub. Plus, replacing a bathtub is an extensive and intrusive process that requires wall repairs. Refinishing is an excellent option if the old one is in good working condition.

There are also options to install a bathtub liner over your existing tub. However, if you’re seeking a new bathtub with new features, you’ll likely want to replace your tub.

It’s substantially less expensive to reglaze a tub than to replace it. The average cost of reglazing a bathtub is between $400 and $700, but that range may be higher based on where you live and the type of tub you have. Meanwhile, if you want to replace the bathtub, you’re looking at $2,000 to $9,400, with the average close to $5,700.

If you don’t caulk your bathtub, then there won’t be a watertight seal between your bathtub and the wall tile surrounding it. As a result, water can seep into the wall and the floor and cause the perfect breeding grounds for mold and mildew. Not only does this require costly repairs, but mold can be harmful to those breathing it.

Refinishing a bathtub takes about two to four hours, but let the surface set for another 24 to 48 hours before using it again. Once it's set, your tub should last for 10 years or more. Ventilating the bathroom during this time is key for safety. In comparison, it takes about four hours to install a new bathtub.

There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.
