"Over the past ten years GA Chott has done renovations on my kitchen, my master bath and most recently, this basement project. I don't even bother to get bids from anyone else. They’re that good, in my opinion. I had a totally unfinished basement, and now I have a beautiful finished media room and a sparkling laundry area nearby. They framed in the theatre room, joined the drywall with the concrete walls, trimmed out to look more seamless. Built soffits for HVAC ductwork and vents. Dropped ceiling with recessed dimmable wafer lights. Installed new light switches and electric outlets. The door to the media room was situated to provide a straight path from the laundry area thru the media room to the staircase. The room, the large stairway, and the landing were all carpeted with nice thick padding underneath. Wonderful underfoot. (They only use high quality materials.) The staircase walls and ceilings were painted. The unfinished part has a bathroom that they refurbished with new shower heads, grab bars, electric outlet, and rough part of wall skim coated. All doors were painted. All walls, built in cabinetry and workbench were painted. The floors were painted - which involved moving the washer, dryer, heavy workbench, storage cabinet, exercise equipment, etc. etc. and then moving it all back again. They even helped me to remove and/or give away some items I no longer needed. My brand new big screen tv was mounted on the wall. Then... it quit working. Darryll went above and beyond: he came out and dismantled it, loaded it for return and then mounted the replacement. Which reminds me - any time there is a problem or concern of any kind, they are super responsive and quick to take care of it. The work crew is extremely considerate and a pleasure to have in your home. I happen to be a retired lady so I was mostly present, but I would not hesitate to leave them unattended. I enjoy this renovation every day. It adds a whole new dimension to my home. If you appreciate quality work done to precise and detailed specifications then you should definitely consider GA Chott & Associates, Inc."

"Our home is 20 years old and due to some things that the original builders did during construction, we had excessive floor noise (squeaks and creaks) and the overall floor performance wasn't what it should be. I found Gary and Kimberlin Construction here, and after reviewing the site, talking to Gary, and sharing the specifics of our situation, he and his team were the right folks to come in and help us out. The overall job took three days, and I'm extremely happy with the results. The floor feels much better when walking on it, and the squeaks and creaks have effectively been eliminated. Throughout the job Gary and his team were professional, always on time, and took the time to both listen to the info that I shard, as well as explained what exactly they were going to do as well as what they did. They worked in a safe manner while in our home, something that is so important given the situation with COVID. The price was quite reasonable for the work that was done, and if I had to do it all over again I would. "The job was an entire bathroom replacement. This contractor came to the job after a previous contractor failed to complete the project. The contractor was very knowledgeable and able to repair and replace parts improperly installed. They also did the complete bathtub and shower installation. Both Travis and Tom took the time to explain the process and let me know of any issues and how to properly repair them. The communication was excellent and the quoted cost was appropriate. They made the entire process go smoothly even with unexpected issues or delays. "This is a good company to deal with. James, the owner, was out within one hour to diagnose our problem. The next morning the technicians, Brian and Josh were out to take care of our drain issues. Brian made a point of showing me the camera footage of the main drain. The did a great job on the main and two other drains. They also cleaned up very well when they were done. Brian also noticed an issue with our bathtub stopper and fixed it without an extra charge. The pricing was transparent. They have a nice email notice system and called when they were on the way. The company's initial bid  was for &7751 for CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles covering a 2545 sq ft roof.
They also bid out separately $1200 for a CertainTeed Flintastic flat roof membrane covering a sun room.
I called and requested an additional bid for a shingle upgrade to Class 4 - impact resistance.
The CertainTeed Landmark IR shingles increased the bid by $2400.
