I knew that I wanted to open up the wall, but had no idea how to go about it or what it would look like. "Pro showed up two hours later than originally scheduled, an hour later than they request we change it to, 30 min later than they told me the day of. Showed up at 1, left at 2:15 because they “forgot their mop.” Didn’t finish any task. A couple days later, we’ve realized that multiple packets of marijuana edibles are missing. They forgot their broom, duster, and mop bucket and never came back, then marked the job as complete."

There are pros and cons of in-ground vs. above-ground pools, which you should consider when choosing the pool of your summertime dreams. Some factors to think about include: 

  • Above-ground pools are semi-permanent and movable, whereas in-ground pools are permanent structures.

  • In-ground pools are more expensive to install than above-ground pools. 

  • It takes one to three days to install above-ground pools and several weeks for an in-ground pool install.

  • You can install an above-ground pool in smaller yards, but you need plenty of space for an in-ground pool.

You should wait at least six hours after adding baking soda before swimming in your pool. Even better, wait at least 24 hours to ensure it’s fully mixed in and dissolved. While it’s likely not harmful, if you get in the pool too early, the baking soda may irritate your skin or eyes if you’re sensitive to it.

The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high.
