"In April of 2024, my wife and I contacted Kim Jones of Urban Interiors to get a bid on a bathroom renovation. Satisfied with the bid that Kim sent, we signed a contract for renovations on May 3. From the beginning of the project, there were many issues. It was clear that the subcontractors Kim was using were unreliable. Contractors would not show up when Kim told us they would be there, shoddy work repeatedly had to be redone, and there were multiple accidents that caused flooding in our house. As the project was nearing completion, there was a flooding incident (11/25/24). Although there was damage done to the house, and the project itself was not complete (a lock was not installed in the pocket door, painting that needed to be completed was not done, the shower curb needed to be redone, etc...), Kim demanded final payment in a series of text messages and indicated she would be contacting an attorney. As of 2/26, our job is incomplete and the damage to our house remains."

Pine, on the other hand, is one of the most affordable types of wood for fences, but it requires the most maintenance out of the three and has the shortest lifespan.

One common approach to attaching lattice is using screws or nails. Align the lattice panel with the wood frame, then secure it by driving screws or nails through the lattice into the wood. Another option is using U-shaped or J-shaped clips or brackets designed for lattice attachment, which provide a neater look. For added stability and aesthetics, you can use molding or framing around the lattice edges, attaching it to the wood with screws or nails—lastly, construction adhesive works when combined with other fasteners for enhanced durability.

This means that the fence is made to look like traditional wrought iron but is actually made out of either steel or aluminum. Old wrought iron fences typically found at estate sales or on older properties are much heavier and much more prone to rust than the ornamental wrought iron that newer homes and fences use.

Make sure to close all gaps at the bottom of your fence to keep deer out, and the bottom of the material should be tightly secured, or the deer will push right through it.
