"I solicited bids 2 times from Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling. The first opportunity was when I first purchased the home in February 2020. The salesman was not interested in selling me what I wanted which was fully variable equipment and a steam humidifier. I was told they don't do steam humidifiers. The quote was way out of line. For such a large outfit, they have a great advertising system and I love their billboards which is what prompted me to give them a try, but value is not seemingly part of the equation, and based on their seeming desire for only easy in and out gigs, I would not trust them for any amount of money. I do not believe I ever received a quote for the plumbing part of the job which would have been for a tankless hot water heater and adding a couple of gas lines, but with the HVAC quote, there was no way as they were not even close to being competitive. The second opportunity was now for issues with our upstairs unit not maintaining temperature on hot days. The salesperson came out and had ideas, but when he went back to the office, he called the next day and said we think it is the HVAC units and wanted me to pay them money to certify the brand new units before they would even provide an idea of how to address the ductwork problem. Not impressed with their tactics based on my experience with three of their salesmen. I've solicited multiple bids and they all feel some duct modification is necessary, so Anthony has struck out again looking for easy money. This home has 2 units and maybe they saw dollar signs looking at the house, but I had a budget being I just bought the home and experience buying HVAC units in the past, and these guys don't pass my sniff test."

"Dishonest.. companies like this is who you want to stay away from. Don’t use them. Tech came and tried to charge me 965 dollars for minor toilet leak. To buy the part which is a gasket and some screws it would cost me 965. If I were to replace the entire toilet it would cost me 1500.00! The kohler genuine part cost is 7.00 on Amazon and Home Depot. So even if they had 100% markup on the it should have cost 14-15 dollars for the part. That means they wanted to charge 950+ dollars in labor. Lowe’s sells a brand new kohler toilet for 199.99 and will professionally install it for 250.00! This company is dishonest. Don’t use them."
