"Chris was great to work with. We had him come out to remove 3 groundhogs.He was very friendly and kind throughout the whole process. He genuinely cares about both his customers and the animals he works with. He was very gentle and humane with the wildlife, which was important to us. He was also incredibly responsive and would come pick up traps as fast as possible so the animals weren’t sitting around. His pricing was very reasonable. "Ben and his crew were very knowledgeable. He was able to squeeze in my neighbors house while he was here! we are super close and shared the same bird vent issue. His crew was fast on time, did not leave a mess. My bathroom vent was clean and working efficiently after the nest removal was complete. Ben also put up a prevention screen to help for the future. "I called and Rick came out in a timely manner to give me an estimate. He did the preventive termite re-treat upon my request, and things went as expected. DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Both spikes and loose nets can be installed over nest sites to prevent the bird from returning, but nets are not a humane option since birds and other wildlife can get tangled in them. 

Spikes are a humane alternative that deter nesting without harming the birds. In small areas, like vents, a very fine mesh net can be installed to prevent the bird from returning. These nets don't generally pose a risk to the birds.

It is possible, though unlikely, that a home insurance policy will help cover the costs of professional bat removal. However, some policies will chip in for guano removal and associated repairs, such as replacing drywall. Take some time to read the fine print of your homeowner’s insurance policy and call your provider to inquire about bat removal, guano removal, and related repairs.

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.
