"Chris was great to work with. We had him come out to remove 3 groundhogs. He was very friendly and kind throughout the whole process. He genuinely cares about both his customers and the animals he works with. He was very gentle and humane with the wildlife, which was important to us. He was also incredibly responsive and would come pick up traps as fast as possible so the animals weren’t sitting around. His pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Chris if you need wildlife removal and want someone who actually cares about doing things the right way."

Customers say: Quality work

"Trapper Joe could have came to my house and do what he said he would probably do and charge me way more but instead he listened to what I thought was a bird and he said no it is more than likely electrical and it turned out to be an old carbon monoxide alarm with really old batteries in it. Good man!"

"He came out quickly, was very reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable about the insects. We didn't even know what they were, and he explained more about them, their habitat, and best ways to keep them out. This is actually the third time we have used Rick, and we called him first when we moved into our new home last month.

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

Hanging wind chimes or motion-activated speakers near your home may be an effective way to deter woodpeckers, as sudden movement and sound often scare birds away. You could also try using reflective decorative items such as pinwheels or mirrors or placing decoys of large predatory birds in your yard. If these measures don’t deter the woodpeckers, you may need the help of a bird removal pro.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.

Set live traps or install a one-way door to evict squirrels, rodents, and other animals from your attic. Once they’re out, seal any entry points to prevent the animals from returning. If you’re dealing with an infestation, call a pro.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.
