In this case, you may still want to install a vapor barrier, as your car can heat your garage.

You should be able to paint most of your garage door with a small roller, but there will likely be details and nooks and crannies that are best handled with the help of a detail brush. After you have painted most of your garage door, make sure to take a step back to review your work—if you have a friend or family member nearby to offer another set of eyes, great!)—and clean up any missed spots with a brush.
