"It was great. We just haven't done anything at all with it. The responsiveness of the guy was very good. I think it was just not quite what we were looking for. It wasn't that their price was really high. I think it was just the price that we decided. Instead of just redoing the whole thing. we decided to do a fraction of it. The quote was about $5000. Their professionalism is great. We just need the plumbing redone and then that little section re-tiled. I don't think they would do just a little bit. With ReBath, they do the whole system."

You cannot tile directly over hot mop waterproofing because tile requires a smooth, solid surface to adhere properly. Additionally, the shower bed pan needs to be raised and sloped toward the drain to prevent water from pooling. It’s best to install a shower door after the bathroom tile is in place to ensure you have accurate measurements. If you try installing a shower door first, the tile might be too thick to install afterward, or the tile will be too thin and create a gap between the shower doors that allows water to leak. With the tile in place first, you’ll know the exact shower door size that you need.
