"Very customer service oriented. Took time to explain what he was doing and went above expectations in terms of offering to help put everything away, clean the pool, etc. price is pretty standard for the area but the service was the better than I have gotten with three other companies."

"Larry’s Pool Service did a spectacular job of replacing the vinyl liner in my pool. The whole process went smoothly - from the initial consultation, right up to the installation! Truly a wonderful company to work with, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"We had Leisure World come out and install a wood burning fireplace into our existing home.  Justin was very knowledgable about the unit and made sure that it was installed properly and that it would be safe.  It was a big job and probably a little unusual as it's more common to install a fireplace when building the home or convert an existing fireplace.  Overall it went well.  They worked quick and were efficient and didn't leave a mess.  They came when they said they would and always returned calls.  They helped us coordinate some of the other work (framing, stone, mantle), but this review is only on the install, though we appreciate their help in lining the other pieces up.  We got another bid for the actual unit and install and the price was in line with Leisure World.  Now that the fireplace is done it looks great!  We haven't had a chance to use it yet due to the weather being warm, but assume it will work well.

Adding an update:  After several months we had some water leaks from heavy rain.  We called Leisure World and they came out right away, found that the flashing installed was defective (problem with the product, not the install).  They replaced the flashing and hired someone to come replace the drywall as well.  Though it was a pain to have to have what was finished redone, we were VERY happy at how accomodating they were and how they made sure to get it all fixed for us.  They took care of all of it.  It's so nice to work with a company that stands behind their work!  That reinforced my A rating.

"The biggest concern for me when it comes to contractors and particularly roofing contractors is if they do quality work they will stand by. I'm very critical on this front, but based on my experience, you can trust boulevard has integrity to do a quality job, and should anything need a tweak, Benji & his team will follow-up."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

Prepare for winter by lowering the water level and removing drain plugs from equipment. Test your water chemistry weekly during the MO swim season to prevent surface damage. After spring storms, promptly clear debris from skimmer baskets to avoid clogged plumbing. Always hire local professionals for electrical repairs or underground plumbing related to pool construction and installation.

Helpful?

Address safety hazards, plumbing leaks, and electrical issues immediately to comply with Lees Summit municipal codes and prevent injuries. Complete all winterization before the hard freezes hit in late November to avoid burst pipes and severe equipment damage. Treat post-storm debris cleanup and summer algae blooms as urgent priorities. Delay minor structural pool and spa service tasks until the off-season when the water is closed.

Helpful?

A compressed swimming season in Lees Summit dictates completing major pool and spa service tasks in early spring or fall. Intense summer heat accelerates chemical consumption and algae growth, requiring strict maintenance schedules. Severe spring storms demand prompt debris cleanup and equipment inspections. Furthermore, shifting clay soils combined with wet weather cause ground movement that stresses underground plumbing and concrete shells.

Helpful?

Your Lees Summit property is an excellent candidate for pool and spa service if you have adequate backyard space that meets city setback regulations. Inspect your existing setup for signs of shifting clay soil, such as uneven decking or cracked concrete. Older installations from previous decades require equipment and plumbing upgrades. Ensure your electrical panels support modern systems and verify that your fencing meets strict local safety codes.

Helpful?

Hairline cracks in your deck or coping signal underlying clay soil movement in Lees Summit. Cracks wider than one-eighth of an inch indicate serious shifting. Waterline tiles popping off point to freeze-thaw stress, while water loss exceeding two inches per week means you have an active structural leak. Address these signs early to protect your pool construction and installation from severe damage.
