"Great work. Showed up on time. Team hit the ground running. Due to space considerations and the size of the tree, the crew had to drop the tree manually. They moved yard “stuff” (birdbath , etc.) that might be in the trees path. Very professional. Team constantly raking and picking up debris. When they were done they left a very clean space behind, with no yard divots and only a little sawdust. We had a very large tree, and they had it down and out in four hours. Victor was our contact and he was very professional and explained every step of the process. Highly recommend. We are scheduling A & M for additional tree work in the fall."

Palm trees are unique in that their roots don't grow straight down; they grow horizontally. Typically, palm tree roots go down between 12 and 36 inches deep. In addition, the horizontal roots are also very strong—keeping palm trees stable and helping them sway during storms.

There are many signs that a tree is diseased or dying, and if you suspect that’s the case, you should call an arborist immediately. You might notice rot or fungus on the trunk or that the tree is beginning to lean to one side. Brittle branches or signs of root damage are other indicators that a tree is in trouble. If the tree is dying, it might be time to cut the tree down so it doesn’t fall.

Depending on the severity of the damage, a tree might continue healing for years after a split or a break. Saplings can usually bounce back in the spring in one or two seasons, but larger trees might take a few years to regain their former strength. If you’re dealing with a newly planted or juvenile tree, hold off on pruning beyond the initial shaping. Wait at least a couple of seasons into fruit production since pruning can increase the number of water sprouts and unproductive foliage.
