Tree Trimming/ravaging - I would NOT recommend A couple weeks ago, our lawn guys suggested we have our old Pin Oak trimmed of it’s dead branches. The tree did not have low hanging branches, was not restricting sidewalk access. I personally talked to the tree service, Wildwood Tree Service, The owner Greg Kiger, and was reassured this would be a delicate process, done with finesse and artistry. We discussed specific limbs that would NOT be removed. The ‘dead wood’ was smaller branches, so I felt that Greg understood my need to maintain the beauty of our tree. I was reassured every step of the way. I have been teaching out of the country for several weeks and came home late last night. This morning was my first look and I am appalled to find nothing happened as we discussed. Nothing. My husband and I were quite shocked to see this. And yes, cried. You can call me a drama queen if you want, tree hugger for sure. But I am demolished at the destruction of our previously majestic tree. I called the owner this morning to expressed my upset. Of course I started crying, but was generally controlled (not screaming or anything). He hung up on me and now messages go straight to voice mail.

Greg and his staff did a wonderful job. They were careful not to damaged surrounding smaller trees and a large perennial garden. Incredibly, they were able to direct the cut branches through a 5 foot opening - it was great to watch how they worked. Greg was very careful when he was inspecting the trees and did not damage them by using leg spikes to climb until it was determined to take them down. They also cleaned up the debris in the yard really well. Very professionally done and I highly recommend them. Thanks Paula F.

Greg from Wildwood Tree Service came out to the house and met with me about several trees that I had concerns about possibly falling and damaging my property. Greg was a straight shooter and told me that they were healthy and the only problem he saw was one big entangled dead tree in my back yard. The tree was very close to the house, and if it fell it would hit my house and deck and no doubt do extensive damage. The crew had to take down three little trees that surrounded the big one in stages to allow access to the big tree. It went as planned and nothing was damaged. Wildwood Tree Service gave me exactly what they promised. I recommend them for your tree needs.

Greg Kiger/Wildwood Tree Services is a great tree company. Greg is awsome to deal with, a true old school, respectful, polite, professional and safety is a true concern. He not only arrived for the sales call, but he estimated the project and did the climbing with a crew, not unlike him i.e. all extremely pleasant & professional, hard workers. Safety for him, his crew, the tree being worked and property was imperative. As was the clean up afterward. The price made the decision a no brainer. Customer service is alive & well Wildwood Tree Services! Highly recommend, they've got my business.

We had a large, ailing hickory tree that was located too close to our house for it's condition and our comfort. Greg expertly dropped limbs and tree in a safe, professional manner that completely eliminated any concerns for our valued possessions. Not only did he handle himself as top-notch professional but was charming to boot. Totally fun to work with. He comes highly recommended. Very reasonable.
