The work was excellent.

The Davey Tree Expert Company Today me and my husband thought we were going to cut down a tree. And my husband did a great job to start but the dang tree wouldn't fall. Being afraid that the tree would fall the wrong way we had to call out for help from some experts. We had one to come by and he decided that the tree was in a dangerous state and we were told that it would take a team and two days to get it all taken care of and also it would be 6 weeks before they could get it. Called one more Davey tree expert company. They sent a gentleman named Kyle and right away he ran to take a look at it and then ran to his car and pulled out a rope. He then proceeded to tie the rope to the tree and then another and created a pully system. And in 20 minutes with our help the tree was down. He was a wonderful person to just jump in an start working with it. Very knowledgable and professional and fixed our worries fast. We were afraid the tree would fall the wrong way and he fix it all.

The work was done by a subcontractor not by Davey. The work was done well but the workers arrived at my house with no appointment made. And they arrived around 5:00 in the evening which is kind of late to be starting the job. But they finished in about an hour. All in all they did a good job.

Excellent! very professional and courteous, not to mention talented staff ... and cleaned up everything when they were finished.

Workmen showed up when scheduled, performed the necessary service most efficiently, and cleaned up.

Before I say anything else, I would definitely hire this company again. But, they were an hour late and did not call to keep me informed. Fortunately, I was at home that day and could handle the time delay. However, I realize there are people who can't handle a time delay, and that is why I mention it. So, here goes - the initial appointment was very well done, all of my questions were answered and I was not pressured into making a decision. They sent me a contract detailing everything we talked about, and the prices were the same as what they quoted me, and we set a date. The workers were very professional, and I am so glad I hired a company that would do the job right. They used a bucket on a lift so they could reach the very high parts of these large trees and did an expert job, wore head gear at all times, and cleaned everything up in my yard. Very well done. So, all in all, yes, I am going to hire them again but I am going to make sure of the time and let them know that if they are not going to be on time, then I expect a phone call. They do excellent work "in the field" but have a small communication issue.

They're excellent! They cleaned up everything, I didn't have a mess. They were really really good. They were friendly and very nice. It was a good experience.

Work delayed by electric wires being too near tree and had to wait for Ameren to trim causing a 2 week delay after month wait for work. The men were very professional, very clean talking (lots of kids in neighborhood), cleaned debris very well in my yard and neighbors. Overall very, very pleased with work. The arborist followed up with a good discussion of work done afterwards which I greatly appreciated.

Very professional organization. Everything went smoothly and communication was good -- from getting the estimate to trimming the trees and cleaning up. They did a fantastic job and were pleasant to work with. Was worth the money to have someone who knew what they were doing and who was not a fly-by-night operation.

They did a wonderful job. I got their name through Angie's List and emailed him through your website and then he called around 2 hours later, he came by and gave me a price. They were here maybe 3 hours after he was here, and were in and out within 3-1/2 hours. They did an amazing job. Very nice people working for them. Very respectul of my neighbor's poperty and my property. I camnot recommend them highly enough. I could not get other companies to even give me a review for at least 2 weeks. They were wonderful and I have recommended them to everyone I know. They took the tree down to the ground, and they will come back later to do the grinding later. The guys were so cute, when the trees fell it knocked down my fence, and they set it back up for me. I am having the fence replaced right now, but it was so nice that it was not just sitting on the ground for 2 months. They were just doing it to be nice. They were great. I would definitely use them again. They were the first ones to call me back. It was wonderful, I had heard the name before but I hadn't known anything about them. They did beautiful work. They were polite and considerate. The price was very competitive.

Work well performed

We have an appointment with them in the future, and we have worked with them in the past. It worked out very well. They're a little bit on the expensive side, but when you get a professional that's what you'd expect. We've already gotten under contract with them.

They are extremely professional. remove trees. come out every year, trim thin out, whatever. I would highly recommend them!
