"Everything went great from start to finish - I'm very pleased with the experience and their work! I wanted a general contractor type of company that could come in and just take my hand-drawn vision on graph paper to a fully completed project, and that's exactly what they did! I wanted to not have to worry about coordinating different contractors to do pieces of the work and have to babysit the process, worry about workers not showing up and throwing off the rest of the schedule, and have things drawn out over months and months, like we had done upstairs. My husband and I knew the kind of company we wanted would come with a higher price tag than patchwork contractors, which it did, but it was well worth it for the headaches and time they saved me!! They were always on time, highly communicative (which is very much appreciative and not always present in the construction business), and very pleasant to work with! They didn't even blast music like most construction crews, which made for the best possible experience having others in your home every day for several weeks. Even minor sticking points we ran into (couple of wrong parts ordered, door & schedule changes, etc.) were no big deal to hash out. Everyone always made time and was patient with answering my questions and addressing requests or concerns, which was awesome. Even when I was laid off after signing the contract and needed to find more work in a tough COVID-19 market so needed to delay the start date, Tom worked with me. They made sure we're 100% satisfied, which we very much are! The quality of work is great, and everything looks amazing as you can see in the photos below!"

"Chris with Bizzy Beaver has been AMAZING. We have hired them for 3 separate projects in the last year after purchasing our first home. We initially used them when we adopted a rescue dog and needed to get a 6ft privacy fence built ASAP. Chris and his team completed this quickly and did a great job. We then had Chris build custom cabinet doors, drawer boxes, and drawer fronts to update our kitchen in time for an event at our house! He made sure to complete the project on time, and the kitchen looks amazing and like a totally new kitchen! Chris also helped represent us to our insurance company while helping us file our claim after a major hail storm. "All of the work was very professionally done. Our experience with Freeman Builders was very satisfactory from scheduling with the office staff to the work that Joe Freeman provided.? He was prompt, courteous, diligent, and?professional in every aspect of the work that was done.? I had purchased a deal for 4 hrs of work.? When Joe got here he completed the door as per our request then spent 4 more hours doing handyman work around the house.? We have a few things left to do and will most definitely call him to finish our tasks.? I can highly recommend Freeman Builders without any reservations."

"The timeline was the biggest problem.  The time it took contractor to finish the project was nearly 2.5 months from start to (almost) finish, with a single bathroom in the house. During this time, there were 2 holidays (Christmas and New Year's) and some days of inclement weather which would have prevented anyone from traveling (~3 in all). However, there was one entire week that I was on travel and returned to find zero progress had been made in that amount of time.
The original estimate was $2,500 for labor only for the bathroom. There were additional items that surfaced throughout the renovation which added scope to the project that increased the labor to nearly $3,700. I provided all material for the project.
Contractor requested milestone payments in advance of work being completed, to include final payment, which was made with promise from Contractor that he would return to fix minor "nit-pick" items, which never did take place. I have had to perform those items myself.
Contractor would set tools in bathtub and on top of porcelain toilet, which resulted in scratches in both. In retrospect I would have requested him to place pads down.
Contractor also did not lay down anything to protect the floors in the house from outside elements that were brought in on his boots (snow/rain), and that was then mixed with debris and dust from  the construction. This made it extremely difficult to clean the floors.
Overall, the bathroom looks nice. When looking in detail, however, once can see where craftsmanship/attention to detail is lacking due to a rush to complete the project.
