Tom is awesome to work with, is great at reviewing your project with you and walking you through options. Communication through out the whole project has been fantastic, you always know what the next steps are. Flexible to work with you on any options. And the quality of work was great - they redid our bathroom and it turned out great. Can't recommend enough for any project you have.

Tom and team did a basement remodel for me about 13 years ago, including adding a bathroom. Subsequent projects were window replacement for the entire house, and new roof/front porch. We received numerous compliments about the roof and front porch as it improved the entire look of the house from the street. He also replaced my concrete driveway to make it double wide. The most recent job was updating the columns wrapped around the porch. They were wrapped in aluminum which looked great but seemed like squirrels like to chew on them. Went with a different material this time around.

Here is the work that they did and how it turned out. Downstairs bathroom Installed tile floor- the tiles shift when you walk on them. Installed new sink- it leaks Installed bidet- it leaks Installed toilet- it is fine now Installed new shower- such low water pressure you can't wash your hair, tile was chipped by them and looks horrible at the valve handle, shower base that they selected and assured me would be tall enough to not leak, leaks profusely, and the fixtures shift because they were not properly attached in the wall Toilet paper roll holder- fell out of the wall Medicine cabinet, light fixture are fine Upstairs bathroom Sink- leaks Medicine cabinet- fine, but when they put it in, they damaged the liner closet and now the shelves won't sit in it Toilet, fine, shower, fine New washer/ dryer hookup- leaked into the wall and may have damaged the subflooring New electrical outlet- they knocked a new hole in a wall doing it but they did repair plaster but not paint. At first I tried to talk to them about these problems, when there were only a few I knew about. Tom argued with me, and repeatedly lied about having fixed or talked to us about it. He is very rude and pretty dismissive once we paid him. I initially said I would not write a review at all, because I wanted them to send the lien waiver and that was the only way to get it, but after finding several problems that we didn't know because they were in the walls, I feel now that I have to write this.

Terbrock's team showed up on time and did the work professionally and carefully -- like it was their own personal home improvement project. At the end of the day, Tom Terbrock himself showed up to make sure everything went well. The price for the work, including removal of existing fixtures, installation, and clean-up, was more than reasonable.

Everything went great from start to finish - I'm very pleased with the experience and their work! I wanted a general contractor type of company that could come in and just take my hand-drawn vision on graph paper to a fully completed project, and that's exactly what they did! I wanted to not have to worry about coordinating different contractors to do pieces of the work and have to babysit the process, worry about workers not showing up and throwing off the rest of the schedule, and have things drawn out over months and months, like we had done upstairs. My husband and I knew the kind of company we wanted would come with a higher price tag than patchwork contractors, which it did, but it was well worth it for the headaches and time they saved me!! They were always on time, highly communicative (which is very much appreciative and not always present in the construction business), and very pleasant to work with! They didn't even blast music like most construction crews, which made for the best possible experience having others in your home every day for several weeks. Even minor sticking points we ran into (couple of wrong parts ordered, door & schedule changes, etc.) were no big deal to hash out. Everyone always made time and was patient with answering my questions and addressing requests or concerns, which was awesome. Even when I was laid off after signing the contract and needed to find more work in a tough COVID-19 market so needed to delay the start date, Tom worked with me. They made sure we're 100% satisfied, which we very much are! The quality of work is great, and everything looks amazing as you can see in the photos below!

Working with Tom and his crew was great. Tom listened to what we needed, had a great eye for detail, and had a lot of helpful suggestions. He wasn't our first pick, as he was underbid by a competitor - who never showed up. Tom was on site quickly, and got things done quickly. The construction crew was courteous and listened to our concerns, and we were able to make changes as needed. Everyone including the plumbers and electricians were communicative and made us feel well-taken care of. I feel we got what paid for, and are very happy with the result.

Overall the things went great. From time to time we had our differences specially price on smoke system. But the owner Tom made things happened what he promised. The guys Brad and Mark were really approachable and very nice people. Did excellent job. Very satisfied with the project. Pricing was very competitive. Would hire again. Highly recommend.

We found Tom and his team to be very professional, timely and respectful. They provided us with a high quality of workmanship and we are very happy with the overall results in all 3 bathrooms. Tom is not only the owner, but is very hands-on. He provided us with some good ideas on products and when we had a bit of a problem with a vendor Tom was very helpful in getting the issue resolved. I look forward to choosing Terbrock Remodeling and Construction again for my next big project. Tom was excellent about following up on all the details himself, from planning all the way through work completion. The crew that came onsite to perform the work were always on time, polite, professional; and they genuinely showed interest in doing an exceptionally good job. I felt like the process of choosing materials might have been managed a little more easily, but in the end, we were 100% pleased with the materials and the installation. I have other jobs that I intend to hire Tom for again.

The finished part of our basement was damaged by drain backup, so after the flood restoration people were done, we needed to rebuild the room. Based on other reviews and recommendations, we chose Terbrock Remodeling and Construction. We are happy that we did. Tom Terbrock is very responsive, and knowledgeable. The estimate and the final cost of the work were very close to each other, and very reasonable. Initially, we were tentatively scheduled for mid-August 2019, but Tom called and moved us up to mid-July. The two guys who came to our house every day to work were both named Brad. They called themselves the "B Team", we called them Brad the elder and Brad the younger. That aside, these guys were professional, prompt, friendly, and careful. They explained everything they were doing, and if they had ideas about certain aspects of the work that they thought would make it look better or be more functional, they would run them by us. If we had ideas, they would be honest with us about whether or not it would work, and explain why. We're very happy with the finished product. We have a living space now that is far nicer than the one we had before the flood. We are very happy with our decision to use Terbrock. We are hoping to remodel our kitchen in the not-too-distant future. We will definitely call Terbrock Remodeling for it.

Basement Remodeling
It went well. Very nice trim work, and good thinking on the part of Terbrock's team when it comes to fit and finish work. Post completion water problems were not the fault of the construction but an unfortunate pipe burst above the area -- making me glad we did decide to go with a drop ceiling.

We chose Terbrock Remodeling and Construction to build our new addition that consists of a 3rd car garage (with insulation and drywall), covered patio and uncovered patio for a hot tub. And we couldn’t have been more happy with the results. Tom and his crew are experienced craftsmen and they did a fantastic job. Early in the process, Tom was able to take our vision, help us firm up the design and provide a reasonable estimate. And the entire project was completed on budget. I can see why this construction company is in demand.
