  We had an excellent overall experience with Metro Garage Door. We have two garage doors, each with its own garage door opener. One of our garage door openers pulled the header board loose and wouldn't function. We called Metro Garage Door in the morning, and they made room for us that same day in the afternoon. Paul was the service person. He has professional and efficient. He replaced the broken header board, reattached the bracket to the new header board, reattached the rail, and aligned the mechanism so that the door worked smoothly again. He then performed a 22-point inspection on each door. We noticed late that day that the door he fixed was making a loud vibrating type noise. We called Metro Garage Door to come and check it. No one was able to come the next day, but A.J. did come the next business day after that. A.J. analyzed the cause of the vibration, eliminated it, and did not charge for a second visit because it was "re-call" work. A.J. was also professional and efficientshow more

  I met with a few siding contractors about replacing the aging vinyl shakes on the front of my house with either LP Smartside or James Hardie. I really liked Randy from Craftsman's Choice because he wasn't pushy at all, answered tons of questions (I"m beyond picky) and was overall really good to work with. Their bid wasn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive but I was confident based on the work I had seen and the people that I dealt with that any additional cost over the lower bids would be money well spent to make sure everything went as planned. iThey keep busy and I was anxious to get everything started, but we got the project going in early june and they were in and out in just a few days. The siding crew was very good, friendly, cleaned up very well and took time to deal with me and my questions when I would stop by to see how things were going. The crew worked together very well and were efficient but had great attention to detail. Jeff the project manager was great about getting questions answered and helping me figure out solutions to a few issues we had to overcome. The siding work turned out great, and the few small issues after were taken care of very quickly. For example, I noticed a small problem with a couple shakes and shot off an email one night at 7 or 8pm. The next morning, I hear a compressor firing up outside and the issue was fixed before I was even ready for work. I really liked working with the people from Craftsman's Choice and plan to use them to get my roof redone as well as replacement windows when I need to get that done as wellshow more

  The project took less than a month and seemed to go quickly. As to be expected a big project like this, there were a few bumps in the road, but the company was repsonsive and kept me apprised of what was happening. All the associated sub-contractors and employees were easy to work with. The total cost was towards the upper end of my price range, but the materials and workmanship appear to be of top quality and I feel I got my money's worth on the projectshow more

  From the very beginning, Craftsman's Choice was very responsive, always on time, and very professional. We contacted them to get a quote on replacing our siding, garage doors, and gutters. This is our first house and did not know very much about the different siding options. The sales man did a great job explaining the benefits and downsides of each option and then provided us an extensive quote on each one, which would allow us to choose the best fit for us and our home. We decided not to go with them due to wanting to go with steel siding after doing extensive research. If they would have been a steel siding contractor, we would have gone with them, though. I was very impressed by how they handled every step of the quoting process and always getting back to us within a short period of time and answering all of our questionsshow more

  The job went extremely well. After a summer hail storm in 2013 damaged our windows and roof we decided to do complete make over on the exterior of our house, including replacing the windows, siding, roof and deck, and wanted to give the house more curb appeal while we were at it. They suggested some ideas to replace a silly looking roof over our front step with a very nice looking portico and add a false dormer over the front window of the house and a false dormer over the garage door to tie the portico in with the rest of the house. (The false dormers and portico have a 6/12 pitch, while the house and garage have a 4/12 pitch) They also had a good suggestion for correcting a hump in our garage roof that we wanted corrected as long as we were doing all this work. We agreed on a price for the portico and false dormers and agreed that the work on correcting the hump in the garage roof would be done on a time and materials basis. We gave the go-ahead to do the extra work and the results were amazing. The work that was done on a time and materials basis was completed quickly and without anyone standing around, and price for that part of the work ended up being less than I expected. The house looks a million times better than it ever did and we have had many people stop while walking by and compliment us on the work that was done. The crews that performed the work were very nice and personable and willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. When I asked questions about the work they were more than happy to answer my questions, and a couple of times when I had concerns about the work that was done, it was corrected immediately. The work was done in a professional manner with excellent craftsmanship. They did a great job of scheduling the different crews so that the work progressed quickly and we were always told when to expect the crews to be working and when the weather was not going to allow them to work. The communication was excellent! I would highly recommend Craftsman's Choiceshow more

  We selected Craftsman's Choice on the strong recommendation of our perfectionist neighbor, who was satisfied with their work. During the project, I had numerous others stop by to tell me that they had used Craftsman's Choice, too, and were pleased with the service. We had extensive work done--a complete redo of the exterior of our home, which is now one of the best-looking houses in the neighborhood. I was completely satisfied with the work quality, professionalism, and particularly the character of Ben Juncker, who worked with us closely throughout the process. Ben understood that we lead busy lives and that he would have to take charge not only of his responsibilities of the project (employees, scheduling, etc.), but that he would have to be persistent in helping guide us through our decisions and to make it easy for us to do our part to keep the project moving along. In short, Ben was able to manage us as well as his employees. I had enough confidence in Ben's character and attention to detail to let him make certain selections, and we were not disappointed by doing so. In sum, I would hire Craftsman's Choice again, and have plans to do so for another project next springshow more
