The Garage Door Guy Inc is a locally owned small business that has been operating in the Twin Cities for 23 Years. We are a full service garage door company. new doors, springs, cables, hinges, door sideways, door wont open, door wont close, opener repair or replacement. If its broken or in need of repair on a garage door or a garage door opener, We pride ourselves on providing great service at a great price. We currently have six service vans covering the entire twin cities and all of our service techs are well trained company employees. We do not use subcontractors for our service calls. We offer same day service and can handle all of your garage door service needs. Give us a try today!

My experience with The Garage Door Guy was great. Scott (the installer) showed up on time, quickly ran through my garage door opener options, didn't try to upsell me, and completed his work quickly. The entire process was simple and pain-free. I'd definitely recommend these guys and would also use them again.

In a word, fantastic. Scheduling was prompt, service was stellar (Jon is great), and I could not be happier with his work. A roller came off the track, but my 20 year old garage door needed a significant assortment of TLC and got it when Jon arrived. Now, the door runs like it was new--super quiet and smooth. In addition to fixing the obvious hinge/roller problem, Jon took his time in then testing and improving the door's operation, replacing my frayed lower seal, oiling all the hinges and spring, and adjusting a dodgy sensor. He answered all my questions about maintenance and provided a friendly demeanor. Jon did a lot more than I expected, and it was worth every bit and then some. A big thanks to him and to The Garage Door Guy.

Amazing customer service! I called around 8:30 am and they were able to get a technician out to me by 1pm the same day. Scott was professional, very friendly and completed the repair quickly and also check on the overall door function. He said everything else looked good and I should not have any other problems with my garage door anytime soon. So nice not to worry about being sold on other unnecessary repairs! I would 100% call The Garage Door Guy in the future and will recommend to family/friends.

Very pleased with the service; the guys were prompt, efficient, and competent. They offered me the option of a repair or replacement of entire opener, plus suggested replacing the door rollers, which did need replacement. Very reasonably priced.

At 7:55am I called The Garage Door Guy. A service tech came to the house at 8:40am and bent in the lower panels so that I could at least close the door. He had garage door portfolios with him, and I was able to choose a door replacement style at that time. Due to the time of year, I was able to schedule an appointment to replace both garage doors (so that they matched) that afternoon. The technician came around lunch time and had both doors installed by late afternoon. Very efficient and very good job.

Their cost for the same product was 500 less than another estimate I got. Same door and manufacturer and identical opener. They scheduled immediately and the installer was prompt, professional, and cleaned up after himself. It only took about 2 hours. I was very impressed with everything and would highly recommend this company.

One of the springs on our garage door broke. A service person from The Garage Door Guy came to our house within three hours of my placing the call and he completed the work in less than a half hour. He was kind and helpful and I believe the price was fair. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

It went very well. I had to call this company to return because of a glitch which caused the door to open on its own. They came and tweaked it very quickly. I was happy with the work that was done, and I will use The Garage Door Guy again should I need more repairs.

Not impressed. He arrived, spent maybe 10 minutes here and left. Not sure he did much, if anything. Not impressed. I replaced the garage door opener in March 7, 2018 since it stopped working.

Garrett came out and was actually 5 minutes before the time frame that was given to me. He went right to work and was done in about a half hour. I could here him testing it quite a few times to make sure that it worked properly.

It went great. Worker quickly identified the problem and adjusted as necessary. Also lubricated parts that were not necessarily the issue but would extend the life of the garage door mechanism.

The technician, John, arrived in the allotted time window, and called 20 minutes before arriving as I was told on arranging the work, John diagnosed the problem right away and pointed out the problem. John was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He also addressed an additional concern with the door and it no longer squeaks. I was very impressed and pleased with the Garage Door Guy company! The price met expectations.
