"I picked Artistic Landscape by reviewing Angie's List for Landscaping providers. I had identified five companies that I was interested in, with Artistic Landscape being my first choice. I ended up only contacting Artistic Landscape.  I was looking for a small company who would be able to provide design work and the installation services. Chris Baker (owner) came over four about an hour and listened to what we were looking for.  Instead of sending us a quote, he came back two weeks later with a CAD drawing and presented us a design for our review. We discussed different stone (for the sitting wall) and different pavers for the patio/sidewalk.  We had the option to change things up if we wanted to.  After choosing Artistic Landscape, Chris came back again to show us actual samples of stone and pavers to finalize our design. 
The implementation went smoothly. It took them about 4.5 days to get the work done.  Chris had two guys doing landscaping and two guys doing pavers and stone walls. Chris was also here most of the time working with them as well.  In addition, Chris had my six year old in the bobcat (technically a compact track loader) for 10 minutes while he was loading up the dump truck on the second day.  
Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  We would gladly use him again and recommend him to friends/neighbors.

"Kyle did an excellent job installing a concrete patio for us. He provided a quote quickly and was very responsive throughout the entire process. Our yard has a challenging slope to it and the project took a little longer than estimated, but Kyle kept us informed every step of the way and was able to modify the original design to ensure proper drainage and maximum space. "If you are looking for paver patios, the installers are great. They did a very nice job, and were professional throughout. They would clean up every day before leaving, addressed any questions we had timely and we are very satisfied with the results. We also added a gazebo to our patio design. It was very clear that gazebo's are not one of their strengths. We encountered many issues with the design and build of the gazebo long before construction began. We had hired Josh in October to complete all elements of the landscaping project the following spring. Over the winter months, we had asked on many occasions for catalog photos, or anything that would confirm what the finished gazebo was going to look like. The pictures were never sent and the only indication of what it might look like came just a few days before the project began and was a very small (1x1) black and white picture. Our expectation of the gazebo was that the material used would be cedar. We had asked for glass windows that could be closed during the cooler and winter months. We were assured on many occasions that cedar material and glass windows were what we were going to get. As they were starting to build the gazebo, the material was not cedar, rather it was pressed wood. As the windows were installed, they were not glass (despite being told that very day they were glass), instead they were a plastic film over the screens. We were left in a very difficult position where we were essentially forced to concede on both elements. While the gazebo is functional, and will suit our needs, had Josh sent just ONE picture sometime in the 5 months or so prior the project start, we may have been able to make a different decision. Related, and something else to be aware of. When trying to reach Josh about start dates, etc I would say he was not always as responsive as I would have expected. Furthermore, there were multiple instances where what was promised was not delivered. Again, if you are looking at a paver or patio project - these guys are great and I would recommend their workmanship. However beware of anything more than that."

"My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE IT! Every time I walk out and see it I love it more! Their customer service prior and subsequent to the job has been excellent. I'd recommend Custom Construction Services to anyone looking to have a patio installed."
