"REPLY by OWNER We wish to assure Angi readers that this was a fully documented engagement supported by a comprehensive scope-of-work, a signed contract including 3 retainer payments that were made each month in support of the work that was being done. As we were hired to do - we made decor selection purchases that were well documented and pre-approved. Confirmation paperwork followed. While there was discovery of creative confusion, there was never any unauthorized use or abuse of assigned privilege as implied. Upon client's change in direction, we worked to remedy the situation as requested. Following our 80-day period of completing the defined design work, and managing multiple changes, we were at the point of beginning the remodeling work on the home. Suddenly, we were issued an abrupt demand to cease all operations. This is 100% the reason why there was no finish achieved with this project"
