"Amazing company! So easy to work with and trustworthy! Was extremely flexible and worked with me on all questions and changes. My kitchen cabinets are gorgeous. This is the second project I have had them do and very happy with both! Evan and his crew are top notch~highly recommend!"

"Excellent value for the level of craftsmanship. Quick response even for a non-emergency completion of a complex staircase flooring. Flexible schedule, bumped me to an earlier time slot when another project postponed. Expert with a table saw, it shows he has 40 years experience with detailed woodworking! He made the right cut the first time and wasted no product. Will absolutely look him up again the next time I get myself stuck on a project when I lack the expertise to get it done right! Photo is of the work requested, I had already installed the LVP flooring and several steps and could not get the transition to work."

"Got my attic insulation done. They really knew their stuff and I would highly recommend them. It wasn t the cheapest but It was fair and I would rather pay a little bit more and get it done right than pay later with huge ice damns."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

It is generally more cost-effective to purchase stock or semi-custom cabinets than to have them custom-built. The best option depends on your budget and customization needs.

Here is a breakdown of the average costs per linear foot:

  • Custom Cabinets: $500 to $1,200. The final price is influenced by factors like materials, size, and design complexity. For example, a basic slab cabinet door might cost $60 to $70 for materials, while a more intricate mullioned glass inset panel door can range from $100 to $200 per door.

  • Semi-Custom Cabinets: $150 to $700.

  • Stock Cabinets: $100 to $400. These are pre-built and the most affordable option, but they offer limited customization and may not be suitable for rooms with unusual shapes or high ceilings.

If you’re brave enough to tackle building your own cabinet bases, you’re brave enough to install them yourself. You’ll need a stud finder to get you started, but the installation will be a breeze if you’ve already done all the hard work to build the cabinet bases yourself. If you’re hanging upper cabinets, you’ll need a helper, though, to balance the weight of the cabinets and make the process easier.

Yes, garage cabinets are worth it to organize the tools, supplies, equipment, and gear you’ve been storing in the garage. Garage cabinets provide a great way to declutter your space while also preserving your valuables—keeping them free from dust, debris, and various weather elements. Not to mention, garage cabinets also elevate the look of your garage, which can prove beneficial when you’re looking to sell your home.

Yes, there are some options for pre-built inset cabinets—and RTA ones, too—but the selection can be somewhat limited. Many homeowners who decide on inset cabinets choose to have them custom made.

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.
